The pikeman is an offensive troop that deals more damage and has more health that the archer. However, the archer is faster and has more range. I suppose there are enough tier 1 troops as it is and it doesn't really need to be added but it's there so if SC wants to use it or change it they can.

They don't throw their spears, which are called pikes.
Just for clarification, they are a MELEE based character, people seemed to be confused about that.

didnt work 10 months ago and wouldn't work now.
Nice idea but it doesn't add some real unique ability with it.
its a good Idea but we don't need anymore tier 1 troops
