The friend list!

You made a good friend in your clan. He had been your buddy for 5 months. Your clan breaks up, or one of you leaves for whatever reason. Dangit you just lost a good friend and will never be able to talk to him again. That is what I have a solution to.


The friend list!
In the chat page there is a third tab after "clan" and "global", it is called " friends". It has the same interface as the "clan" tab. The "i" button takes you to a GUI.

The GUI layout
I don't have any pictures to show because I am typing this on a tablet.
On the top left there will be a "list friends" button. It takes you to a page which has all your clan members listed, when you tap one, a query pops up saying "Are you sure you want to add [name] to your friend list". If you press yes it adds the player to your list in the original GUI.
On the top right it plainly says Friend list.
When you tap a player in the list, a popup comes with options of visit, profile, view clan and chat.
I will tell what "chat" does later in the thread.

Other ways to add friends
You also can add friends by selecting the new "add friend button" that comes when you tap the player, which gives a query asking to confirm adding them.

The "chat" button

This is the reason I chose to put a separate tab for friends.
When you press the button, in the tab the channel changes to what only you and your friend you pressed the "chat" button on can see.

This would be nice, since as of now if you meet a nice person on global and forget their clan you will probably not see them again.

Well I've been in many clans and made lots of friends, fortunately I keep contact with most of them by having them on my gc,so they pop-up in my friend list, or/and have them on my kik/line (social media apps)

True, why not, line has 50 million more downloads than clash of clans

I was thinking of this and think it's a good suggestion. I would also suggest we be able to upload profile pics so we know how our clan mates / friends look.

I Don't mind this Idea and adding friends should be easier but i don't wuite think this is the way to do it

2. Maybe you should post that idea on the forum, it would be heavy on servers though.

I like it. I have friends that play on google play and other friends that have downloaded this game off the internet and i cant view their base because we have different app stores. I also think the person you sent the friend request to has to accept it before you become his/her friend.

I like the idea of accepting the requests but I also want this to be able to be used as a "base keeper" for finding a base you liked. So there could be an option of toggling requests on or off.

Yes please. I've lost countless amounts of friends in my clan because they left and I never saw that again.

A friends list is an awesome idea. I use Apple so I have Friends added to GC, BUT I cannot add friend from android.
