Will New Update hurt the Economy?

With level 6 walls and up able to use gold and elixir now, isn't it going to be easy to just put the left over elixir in walls now instead of having maxed storage's? There was already a shortage of gold so isn't this going to leave a shortage in elixir?

I doubt it.
There's so much elixir floating around these days, I don't think it will even leave a dent.

Until 1 hour after update and all the excess lix thats been keeping the lix Econ a float since the start of barch is then dumped into walls. Collector raids will be the only place to find decent lix in the future.

I totaly agree. The gold loot will stay as it is, and the elixir loot will go down -> no help for all of us

Doubt it. People don't upgrade walls now when when they have max gold I doubt it will change

The day the update is released, the economy will be terrible because everyone will log on to see what's new and dump all of their gold and elixir. But after a week or two, it'll balance back out but with less elixir available. However, I'm sure SC will add something to make loot a little easier to come by in one of the next sneak peaks.

This is very true, always and I mean ALWAYS happens. Things will be tough for about a week and then all the trollers and complainers will go away.. we just have to wait a little bit first.

Or it can get worse after a couple of weeks. Let's say forever nexting and no loot.

I am nexting right now for a half hour+ And if i remember correctly the last update was a while ago... Loot is bad, and loot will stay bad. Thats how it is. But now with the new update the elxir loot will get worse (because everyone,as they are doing with gold atm, will spend their elixir right away on a wall once they have like 1 mil saved up.
If they really want the loot to get better, they will need to make people save up resources and not spend them right away. Otherwise it will stay bad.

loot has been great for me. 5 hits today avging 215k gold and 150k elixir per hit. and about 800 de. ofcourse i dont have loot problems. i dont barch or bam

Pretty sure your in the wrong league then! I've been killing people in S1 lately for 250k+ each raid, for more than a month! Only way I could'v farmed my L8 walls in a couple weeks.

This balances the economy a bit I think, but probably not. Gold will either get a bit or a lot better, elixir is going down a lot.

Well considering I can't find gold for ♥♥♥♥ maybe it'll be better for my wall farming...of course I found good loot up in C1 but I'm a TH9 and it's hard to stay up there, plus I can concentrate on one of two things, loot or trophies, very rarely is there both for me, good loot and lose or bad loot and win.
