Max your army camps first, then BArch on exposed DE storages and full DE drills.
Okay I’ll go on a rant and try to help as best as I can :
Firstly, Wintaburr is right. Maxing your army camps should be your first priority. Then, I would highly suggest you max out your barbarians and archers (archers first in the lab).
In order to gain dark elixir from a base, you should look for two things: exposed drills that you can barch with or a base with a lot of dark elixir in their storage that you can lightning. Typically building power-armies such as giant-healer, mass dragons or etc is not time-efficient unless you build them overnight.
In order to find a base, it is very simple. The higher up in trophies you go, the more there is. However, you need to keep in mind that the higher you go, the more high level people will visit your base and destroy you when you are offline. It is best to go to a range that you are comfortable with. Just test out different ones.
Keeping the dark elixir is important too, I would suggest you find a base design that prioritizes your dark elixir storage. Do not underestimate this step.
One final thing – Clash of Clans is designed in such a way that in order to reach your goals you must first achieve others. It pays to think long-term about your choices and not just seek instant gratification. Don’t be afraid to deviate from your primary goal and take time management into account.
That was my rant, I hope you read it all I feel as though it would help a lot. Good luck! :)
When i was th 7 trying to get my bk to five i barched and zapped or i used baloonian and i would get 10-20k per day. Then when i got offline id get raided and lose 1k (if i hadnt just started an upgrade) and id make up whatever i lost in 1-2 raids. I was in gold 1 and 2 when i did this.
