Now that school has started, I hardly have time to play CoC, usually checking it once or twice a day. I find it frustrating when im trying to save up for something because I never know when i have enough loot to buy it, then an hour or so later it gets stolen. it would be handy if there was some type of system that would make a notification appear on your phone's alerts when your collectors are at a certain percent. This does seem like it would add an unfair advantage to the game though, ruining the element of suprise in a raid, so it would probably have to cost 5 gems or so.
To access the alert menu, you simply tap on the town hall and there are 2 or 3 alert buttons, one for mines, one for collectors and one for drills (when aquired). This menu would most likely be a slider that ranges from 10% to 100% in 10% intervals. You then tap a confirm button, and the reminder is set. An alarm clock icon along with the percent selected will appear next to the gold, elixir or dark elixir meter on the UI overlay.
If an enemy raid occurs, the alarm will be unaffected, other than the fact that it will take longer for the atorages to reach the desired amount.
I do see a problem with different level collectors, im not sure if they all collect the same percent at the same rate. for example, a level 1 mine might collect 100 gold per hour, filling it's 1000 gold storage by 10% every hour (not sure if thats the actual rate). but a level 11 mine might collect 1000 per hour, filling its 20,000 storage by 5% (again, not the actual rate). This would be an issue because if one level reaches the percent mark before another level, there might be some time at risk.
Overall, I think this might work, hence a few minor changes to the game. I would love to hear any improvisions anyone has, so please reply!
