stop clan hoppers

The Problem: Because clans are usually so easy to join, tards join random clans to get troops in their clan castle then leave. As a leader of a clan, this frustrates me no end.
The solution: Make a timer on joining another clan, that goes up the more clans you have joined in a given period of time. example:

timer before joining another clan	time period expiry	joined clans
0	1 week	1
5 mins	1 week	2
1 hour	1 week	3
8 hours	2 weeks	4
24 hours	3 weeks	5

If you are joining more than 3 clans per week, you are hopping imo.

But then there are people who need to shuffle between family clans. This could stuff them up quite a lot.

Actually they target all clans that look like they have good troops


@op sc is not going to give a penalty on players they use a legit method in the game. There are already many ways to deal with hoppers
1) look at FIN
2)kick if req right away
3) et cetera

Its a very interesting idea. Thanks for thinking of it and posting it.

But for clans that have feeders this would penalize the leadership that needs to be able to move between them. As much as I would like to stop hoppers, or even bury them in anthills, hurting the ability to manage feeder clans would hurt the game even more than the hoppers do.

I don't find any problems with hoppers. It depends on whether they like your clan or not. If they don't like your clan, they leave! I don't think there should have anything to stop players from finding a suitable clan to be in.
