Normally when I'm raiding i look for bases with 200k+ gold. Sometimes I go for the odd town hall snipe to get the league bonus and whenever someone traps their town hall here's what I do.
Step 1: destroy town hall
step 2: Trigger giant bombs and traps.
step 3 try my best to decimate the base as much I can.
Once I have accomplished this i leave the raid with a big grin on my face knowing that I have ruined a jerks day!

Most of the time I destroy the entire base and leave the town hall intact to make fun of them.

I normally don't TH snipe because the risk vs reward doesn't pay off IMO. However, in that off chance that I do and it's trapped I turn my focus to their collectors and storages. Take as much as you can without tripping their shield is is best way to deal with these bases. You lose trophies, but knowing they'll get back-to-back attacked for loot is awesome.
Yesterday I trained dragons overnight and wanted revenge in somebody but he was on shield.
So I started searching for a worthy oponent and got this th8 guy with th in 1 side I dropped a barb and 3 lvl 5 teslas popped up and I started my dragon attack from other side of map, got all his gold exile and de hahaha 😂. Leaving his th untouched.
I bet that wasn't funny for him to watch lol.
My TH is trapped, good luck killing my heroes and cc troops. Also try to trigger my traps that i never reload :D
