Penalize Clan war quitters

It already makes them ineligible for war for 2 days once they leave. Adding an extra day might not do much.

How bout a little badge or text by people's names that lasts for a limited period time (similar to the "new" text under people's names on the clan roster) when they don't attack in a war?

Something like "Deserter II" for not using either attack, or "Deserter I" for only using one attack.

Managing your clan is your responsibility, not SC's. Don't try to get them to make you new tools to coerce people into wars but try to motivate members to participate out of their free will

we manage our clan, Clan Mail goes out, kik is used to send messages.
people still will leave after the button pushed, very frustrating.

I completely agree with this.

To those who say its clan management it really isn't down to just that.... Recruitment is a permanent thing. Possibly some of you are in a clan that doesn't need to recruit and that's nice. Stability certainly helps with clan wars.

I have sent clan mails, wrote in chat, asked the new people if they are joining in, checked their war stats to have an idea if they do participate or not and I tell people as part of the clan induction that wars are mandatory. I can't really do more than that.

kicking people just before war starts doesn't help recruitment in any positive way as far as I can see. A button to stop them participating is much more friendly I think

when they don't even penalize bot users.......

SC is not in the business of alienating their customers. They aren't going to enact a badge or statistic where the sole purpose is to label someone negatively.

They already do this in a manner of speaking, if you check a players profile it will tell you that they're ineligible for war for x period of time.

I may be being unfair to some people who had genuine reasons for leaving a clan in the middle of a war! Or conceivably they completed both attacks before leaving therefore not compromising their clan in the war. I suspect tho the majority of players who turn up in global with a clan war ban are players who left their previous clan in the lurch. If these players ask to join my clan i tell them my clan values loyalty and will not invite players who have a clan wars ban!

If you recruit players with a clan war ban into your clan you cannot really complain if they subsequently leave you in the lurch during your clan war!

The 48 hour no war penalty for them clearly doesn't bother them if they are willing to just bugger off during a war anyway. I would like to see them get an added warning after the are you sure message that says they won't be allowed to rejoin a clan for 4 days or war for a week after quitting a war early
