Penalize Clan war quitters

Is there anyway to penalize people that quit as soon as clan wars has been selected.
This is very annoying as these guys get off Scott free and leave your clan 2 attacks short.
i would like to see something done so anyone that quits is harshly dealt with so it becomes a deterrent against others doing the same thing in future.

What would this penalty be exactly?

I agree something needs to be done... It isnt far to everyone else who participates and uses all their elixer and lose by 1 star because someone couldnt get that extra 1 star

They are penalized. It makes them ineligible for any other wars for 48 hours.

Instead of using sarcasm and insulting under tones, why dont you do something useful like suggest where they should recruit these "less likely to leave" new recruits. Dont say forums either because thats where i recruit from and still manage to have 2 players leave in the middle of a clan war for no reason while we are winning. I think supercell should implement a stiff penalty or opt in/opt out option for clan leaders to choose who will participate....possibly both. This is something that should definitely be revised.

You should communicate with your clanmembers before starting the matchmaking. If people don't want a war don't go to war and if just few people don't want, tell them to leave for a few minutes while you initiate the search.

Managing your clan is your responsibility, not SC's. Don't try to get them to make you new tools to coerce people into wars but try to motivate members to participate out of their free will
