$$$wall sale$$$

Okay so all of us here know that as we progress into Clash of Clans, the prices for walls can be somewhat ridiculous but I have a proposal deal and I speak on behalf of the 98% of Clash of Clans players that DO NOT have level 10/11 walls.

First, I understand this is an idea that may conflict with Supercell's profits because most players do Gem to get their walls to level 8, 9 or 10. Whatever the wall level may be, I think it would be fair to have an annual Wall Sale. Like the anniversary, where we have a Gem Boost, I believe that in this September update (oh yes I'm very sure there will be an update soon) we should have a wall sale. Yes, I understand how this would affect the people that really farmed hard to get their walls to that level and the Gemmers, but remember.. That is only 2% of over 50 MILLION!

In short, this is how the wall sale would "go down". For one month, all walls would be 50% off! Everything doing with upgrading walls and building walls would be half off.

Obviously, this would be great for the players.

But what about Supercell?

They need to make money, and walls are one of the ways they can do that (as people may decide to gem their walls). Having this could reduce their income by a fair bit. It would need to be a very rare and short event, as well as less reduction on the wall prices (eg 20% off for 3 days once a year, or something like that).

I do understand this would lower their profits dramatically but we need to think of the whole Clash Community. Many of the more experienced players with fully maxed out bases do not even play anymore. But just as some do not, some still do. Think of the big picture. I do not believe it would hurt Supercell much at all to have a Wall Sale for a month. First, consider the popularity increase when the Wall Sale would begin. Im sure many more new players would download and play and that in and out of itself is making money. Not to mention the many happy Clashers we would have. And as Clash of Clans is gaining more popularity through social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) this would simply not go unnoticed bringing in possibly waves and waves of new players. I believe these new Clashers would perhaps somewhat compensate for the profit loss.

Let me speak on behalf of the 2% of players that do have level 10/11 Walls, prices are fine the way they are

2% of 50 million is 1 million players. And that is a great deal of people but I speak in the interest of the other 49 million. Sadly, majority rules. I know this would anger the hard working players who got there but its just bad luck. Your timing may or may not have been worse. But thank you for te feedback. :)

Not a bad idea. I do like this wizard sale. And I think each season they should have some different troop or build sale. Next season a loons or valks half off sale. Maybe it could be a tesla sale - buld time and cost are cut in half. Each season some new event which could include a wall event eventually.

Actually every poll On The topic has been overwhelmingly in favour of keeping prices as they are, and even if the majority of players did want this supercell are known for not listening to customers

Level 8 walls are nothing. Took a few months to build. No big. I'm finding lvl 9 to be much the same. Just working in 1, maybe 2 a day. Wall prices are fine. If everyone had them, it wouldn't be worth the effort. And no, this is not "majority rules." We are ruled by the dev team.

I never thought of it, but that would be great! Good idea!
