Battle Time
When attacking another base, we get 3 minutes to finish the attack. There is no time benefit or penalty to the attacker when attacking up or down a town hall level.
A lower town hall level has a hard time 3-starring a higher town hall level due to the mismatch of the number and level of troops available for the battle versus the number of buildings to destroy. To counter this, I reckon that bases attacking higher level bases should get an additional 15 seconds added to the battle time.
One might then ask, should an attacker then get 15 seconds less time when attacking a lower town hall level? I say why not? The benefit/penalty has to work both ways.
Often I have found myself in a position where I have destroyed all the defensive buildings of a higher town only to time out because there are simply too many buildings for the number of troops I have. Sometimes another few seconds is all you need to get the extra star and I think this should be available to people attacking high town hall levels.
