So... I can trust TH10's and 9's for loot opinions but disagree with TH7

So I can trust those TH10's and 9's when they say their loot is bad because of loot penalty and that I've never actually experienced those levels. But when town hall sevens say loot is bad I disagree strongly. I am upgrading to town hall eight so I don't mind if people flood my old farming location because the loot penalty will kill it for me anyways. But to the point, once I got my barb king I decided to get loot, and at silver 2 I found a lot of rich th6's and collector raids, and of course a few rushed th7's that i could easy barch for 100k+ loot. By the end of day 2 i had 1.8 million in each storage, so I don't see how you have so much trouble with loot unless you are pushing or something.:confused:

TH9/10 loot is indeed bad but it will get worse as the game progresses.

Th7 loot is great, th8 loot is maybe even better, th9 loot is worse than th8 loot, but not that bad, and th10 makes people quit the game.

I agree I think town hall is the best place to farm and I kind of regret going to town hall 9 before getting all my walls maxed oh and arieoreos grats on enthusiast.:rolleyes:

People don't seem to understand that loot is all about finding a sweet spot.
At times it may be sub 200, other times it may be high crystal. Whatever your town hall level if your loot is bad you need to move, usually down.

This means easier raids scince there are weaker bases there on average and more loot as there are less people farming those areas and fewer bases that can 1 star those big money bases while getting decent enough loot in the process.

Also keep in mind loot will always be at its worst at the top tier of bases such as th9/10.
Why? Not only is there only about 10% or less of the community there giving a lower number of bases, Better overall knowledge of how to dump out loot and higher cost upgrades means there's a lower chance that your matches will have enough loot to break even in the first place.

Honestly, TH 8 loot is better than TH 7 loot for me. Might be because I stayed at TH 7 for a month. (Being a premmie was awesome!)

Exactly, it's not just a lower % of profitable targets due to mathematical loot penalties, it's due to the fact players who have been around that long are typically better at stealing / protecting / clearing loot available for raid.

Mathematically loot should always be OK at every hall, but the maths behind the game does not consider players understanding of the game. There are more smarter players at the top now than ever - and they will only increase in number the longer the game lives. It is a natural evolution.

This in my opinion is why loot continues to get worse as time goes on. Fact is there is just too much competition now experienced at draining, dumping and protecting the supply. While loot supply remains unchanged.

TL;DNR Version: Unless loot supply [or draining of loot] changes, loot will continue to get worse.

TH10 loot is so bad that I max it out in 4 months farming in Master league.

Yeah Arie don't worry loot is fine as an 8 and I totally agree I can sorta see 9s and 10s complaining but 7s loot was amazing as a 7

I rushed th7 :(. Th8 loonian is awesome though.....I'm bringing in 400-600k raids with 500+ dark almost every time. I have 2 ranges for farming.....One loonian and one arch. Both bring in mounds of loot. ;)

Well, let's see... As a th7, your primary targets are th7's and th6's.
As a th8, you have level five barch, and your primary targets are th8's and th7's, which gives you WAY more loot and attack power for the same army train time. After a couple weeks in, elixir should not be a problem, so the cost of the new, higher level troops barely matters at all.
Meanwhile, you get level five:
- Barbarians
- Archers
- Giants
- Wall breakers
- Goblins
- (Balloons, but they still suck, and Pekka level 3 for war).
You then get 5 more troop space in your CC, and your base is waaaaay harder to destroy when you are farming.

What no one seems to understand is that th8 loot is better than th7 loot.
