LEAVE YOUR TOP PLAYER'S TOWN HALL OPEN AND FREE FOR THE TAKING IN CLAN WARS!!!

Why?

Loot is why. Hear me out.

We want more loot in the game, for ourselves and to loot from others. Leaving a top TH open in clan wars will help with that. It will have marginal impact on the result of any particular war and will help in two ways...

1) It will allow the winning team to max how much loot they will take away from a war. Once a war outcome is decided, then the remaining attackers can hit the open TH for max loot with little to no elixer expenditure.

2) Even the losing team will be able to hit the exposed TH and max the loot they will get at very little cost, or no cost if you use your hero to take out the exposed TH.

All this will result in Supercell pumping more gold and elixer into the game instead of taking it out of the game. The more gold and elixer put into the game, the better the raiding will be for everyone.

If everyone participates, everyone benefits.

-"But what about clan members who will hit the TH to farm loot and not go for stars?"- There are already some clans that leave a TH open as "bait" during a clan war, so it's not like clans don't already have to deal with the issue of clan members taking the bait and not going for stars. That's a clan discipline issue that clans already deal with, "farming" vs "star hunting" in CWs. This doesn't add to or make that discipline issue go away. It may allow those guys to farm great loot when a match is already decided though, rather than losing an attack and "throwing away" resources on a failed attack.

Pass it along. Put it in your clan description and ask your opponent to do the same before war. Let's make this a global movement and stick it to Supercell.

Why not? Because it makes perfect sense.

We game the system to get more free resources out of Supercell.

Heck, even clans that don't war should do this and at least give other clans more resources so they can farm it away from them later.

Please bump this. The more that read this and talk about it in their clans, the more likely something like this might catch on.

While this is a noble idea, I don't agree with it at all. In my opinion, wars are for competition - not loot.

This idea does not detract from the competition aspect of clan wars. You still fight to win. After all, you want 100% loot bonus, not the 20% the losers get.

The exposed TH's shouldn't really come into play or get hit repeatedly unless or until the outcome of the war is decided. Once it's decided (ie. your clan is 30 cups up with 30 min left), then it would of course be time to farm as much loot as possible. Goal is to pump as much resources into the game for as low a cost as possible.

I'm in a small 15 member clan of IRL friends and friends-of-friends. We do wars back to back with zero downtime. I would say that in the past couple months, there have been at least 8 times where the final score was a difference of 1 star or a tie. In all of these cases if both top players' TH were outside, the score would probably be the same. However, if only one team had their top TH outside and he got 1 starred where he would otherwise not have even been attacked necessarily, it would have swayed the outcome of the war.

I know your intentions are good here. But I don't think the honor system is something you can count on, especially over the internet and especially in video games. I could see clans moving their TH in at the last minute to give them an advantage.

Not a good idea.

This is a great idea but at the same time can none of us ever collect our mines then every raid will be a sleeper:p
