DNS problem - having connection problems

So this afternoon I get continuos disconnects when doing a search in COC. Sometimes at the very first attempt already, or also when trying to do a revenge. Sometimes after a few searches.

I did a few researches and noticed that http://forum.supercell.net was not available also to me.

So I did a "nslookup" on the domain "forum.supercell.net" using the nameserver pdns01.domaincontrol.com / 216.69.185.50, what is the ufficial server for "supercell.net":

Domain Name: SUPERCELL.NET
Registrar: GODADDY.COM, LLC
Whois Server: whois.godaddy.com
Referral URL: http://registrar.godaddy.com
Name Server: PDNS01.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
Name Server: PDNS02.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

And I get a "timeout"!

Means, the ufficial DNS resolvers dont work at the moment?

Can anyone of you confirm this?

Using a domain lookup tool at http://mxtoolbox.com/domain/forum.supercell.net/ confirms the problem:

"Unable to resolve forum.supercell.net to an IP address.".

Probably Supercell's domain just got hijacked ...

Could be a fault in your dns server. Have you tried changing it? If not google will give you the information on how to do it for whichever device you use.

It is not a local problem as you can see from my messages.

I am having the same problem.

It keeps disconnecting when I go to multiplayer, the very second i click it resets.... I can't play:mad::confused:

Maybe I am out of my depth. In the past I have had experiences where the specific DNS or ISP I am using has problems connecting with specific servers. I have then changed the DNS server or ISP I use and the problem corrects itself.

If you know how to change your DNS (fairly simple). Try doing so and see if you get the same results.

Its across all their servers. Something is wrong.

Same here, also in boom beach, every time clouds clear: snap connection lost, try again

I wrote a email to support, only reply I got was them asking my COC name.
