Spells used to increase control over troop movement during an attack.
Sometimes troops go in directions that are undesirable. This could be solved through the use of existing spells. For example, sometimes when deploying giants or dragons in the same spot, they tend to split up and head towards different directions. By using a healing or a rage spell the giants or dragons can be forced to move towards and within the vicinity of the spell. This way the player can have more control over the direction of the attack.
This use of a spell should only be applicable for certain troops. I mention giants because they head towards defensive buildings. By being able to use spells to direct your giants collectively, it could be a great advantage for the attacker. The same applies for units such as hog riders and dragons.
Maybe this ability should only be unlocked after upgrading a unit to a certain level. Maybe the application of using the spell in such a way can be switched on and off. Or even maybe you choose how you want to create the spell in the first place.
Another idea would be to create a whole new spell just for that function. It could be called the dark spell (as if some dark spell has taken over the troops and forcing them to move towards a specific direction). This type of spell can be applicable to all troops. The idea is that once using this spell, all troops will attack troops and buildings towards the direction that the spell has been used. It would act as pulling all forces towards one direction in a straight line. Its cost might be in the form of dark elixir. Its upgrades might be focused on the amount of time that it lasts for and/or the effect that it has on the troops. It might make the troops get angry and move faster or increase their attack.
By creating a new spell for this function could be the easiest solution to make it available. This way the player would have to decide whether using this spell instead of another would be more useful.
