Just Finished Legos... thoughts...

so today i finished all walls to lego.... not gonna post a pic, but im MrShred of ExclusiveEmpire.

this grind was super long... i remember i thought purple walls were cake, even skulls werent that bad.... legos... my friends is a monster... spent many boosted rack sessions farming these lovelies...
and ofc with rumors of a potential wall price reduction..... that would ♥♥♥♥ me off.... i just poured monthes on these 1mil lego's.... and got 3mil lavas to look forward to.... i always justified the prices by, hey legos make it so th9's need 3wbs... lavas make it so anyone has to use 3 wbs....

so the real question, can i goto itunes in the way people went to itunes over their hero nerf, and get the same thing...
kuz all my gems went into boosted racks (every rack boosted, heroes boosted 50-60gems per 2hrs) ???

but yes lets get back on the positive note... lego's look dope~ i like em, took me alil over a month and a half... i wouldnt say i was obsessed but i did spend 4hrs minimum every day, with all reg racks boosted, and heroes boosted.
luckly for me my clan wins clan wars like crazy so cw gold loot did help ease the pain..

this sense of accomplishment is good, just eerie about it finishing the day after the announce they may be doing something with walls...
plz dont make my grind a waste.

Since you plan on doing lavas....if they reduce the cost of legos and lavas...you will benefit from the discount. I fail to see this as a waste.

lavas is the only thing that should be reduced in cost everything else is properly priced. i like how they go from 500k to 1 million then all of a sudden 3 million? no they should be 2 million for lavas 4 million for zaaps. be consistant.

Have you joined the Fan meetup in Seattle yesterday or at least the Twitch Live Stream? I unfortunately didn’t (first because it’s almost the other side of the world and the other one because lack of time). Anyway there was some interesting announcement which got approved in the official forum:

There are not a lot possibilities where this is going so let’s put down the facts: There will be a change to the Walls, but what can that be?

My assumption is you can select a row of walls/multiple walls and upgrade it.

Good Work, I've got 56 Legos to go and its been a long hard grind, don't want to think about lavas until we know what SC has planned for walls in the update.

Congrats mate. :) I have just started farming legos, and they aren't as bad as I thought. I finished 9 today, hopefully I can keep it up and finish them quickly. :p

I personally don't care what they do with the walls as I never intended to go past these legos anyways. I hate the grind of wall farming and it holds no interest for me, it is just a place to dump gold. When I max my TH10 defenses (maybe 5-8 weeks now) I'll dump gold into Lavas, but not until then.

Interested to see what SC has in store for walls anyways. Hopefully they make them stronger past L9 to make them worth the hassle.

Congrats on leggos, they are definitely beautiful! I'd hold off the lavas till the update but I'm fairly positive there isn't going to be a price drop.

Finalllllllyyyyyyy, I'm officially done with my legos. I don't think I will ever Clash that much in a single day for a long time (maybe when I push to Champions in a couple months.)

I finished skulls walls a way back then i started maxing my th 9 defense now i am going to th 10. Ive done 13 legoes too make my base look siq. Takes me one day to get 1 mil because i have school and loot is bad but 1500-1650 guys dont farm their for th 9 its too good and you will lose elixr if you expose them because last 24 hours i have lost 600 k elixr and more

But again such a reduction would be very annoying for people who farmed them. I would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if they reduced legos, and others would be if they reduced lavas. Best is to leave it as it is now

Clash has always been, and will always be, about offense, not defense. (it's where Supercell make their Money).

You would have been much better off using those boosted barracks farming DE for high level heroes. Ignore the people talking about Hero nerf. High level heroes are still monsters. Just look how many Defensive wins there are in Champs, exactly nearly none. You do see a few more Def wins on a Friday and Saturday night, I guess once people get soooo drunk they can't raid.

By the way, even level 10 walls are like butter in Champions League but congrats on seeing something through to the end. They do look a lot better than Skulls.

After looking at so many vids on youtube, I realized that once you max your defenses, walls are not all that important. I was grinding away at my skull walls but stopped cuz I kept seeing TH10s that weren't even using walls.

Now I'm hearing about this new update that is apparently focusing on the most in consequential part of the game... hoo rah supercell..

Walls are definitely important in the game, but once it gets to a stage where you've got a decent set of walls, it's best to farm your defences. Until you max your defences you don't really need to touch your walls. It's the defencive structures that protect your base, not the walls.

No one actually got any money back when they nerfed heroes so dont waste your time trying lol

ehhh yes CoC has always BEEN about offense, but make no mistake they are actively making defense more important... (albeit they are doing it the wrong way, by nerfing offense opposed to buffing defense)

also who said i wasnt also working on heroes? my builder breakdown has been 3 builders on defs/traps 1 builder on heroes, and 1 off/on walls.... atm bk is 15, aq is 11 (going to 12 as we speak.)

and butter? i've seen many yt vids where bk gets stuck on those butter walls, with his butter knife...
also i'm upgrading walls because i want to be a threat in wars, i could care less about champs league where 1star is a good job lol, wars > pushing... in wars if it aint 3 it don't matter.... so tell me again how walls arent worth it from a war perspective, and preventing 3 stars?

It's cool. The beauty of this game is it can be played so many different ways.


I made the decision to max my heroes instead of focusing on walls. It took 2 months of boosts but i had to focus on the DE storages only. Too hard to get Gold and DE. The new jump spell is so effective that it renders walls pretty ineffective (ie: WB outer wall, clear compartment and jump to core). Max Heroes also helped me win more stars than i lost on Defence in CW.

People should always do what's best for them, easiest and beneficial to their clan.

Okay, I am a farmer. I ground out DE levels for my heros (55 total) and if they dropped hero DE costs, I wouldn't be mad AT SC. Sure I might be annoyed that I personally spent all that time but its a product in my eyes


I mean stuff goes for sale all the time and the value of things constantly change. Can I got back to the store when they drop the price of a video game by half and demand the difference?


Sure SC refunded people on heros, but should they have? Its a product. Sure you can argue they altered an already purchased thing but its an online game, dem' da risks.


I am slightly more sympathetic to those who spent real dollars but in economics the prices of things change. Its called life.

at the higher lvls of heroes for sure, but until they get to about lvl20, i think u can farm both effectively.... (i'm not gemming heroe's time, rather gemming barracks to farm, gold.... and de.)

but ofc all this is really for wars... if we are talking pushing like u said, jump spell voids any value in walls, since 1star is a win...
what they rly should do is make the higher lvl walls do some minor amount of dmg to "jumping troops" to specify not flying troops, only jumping troops like hogs (yes further harm them!) and any troops that hop a wall via jump.... ofc since the majority of troops jumping would be pekka's and heroes the dmg would be very minor, but it would encourage and give further incentive to spend time farming walls... which also = money for sc..

weither u spent time or money on a product, it is a product that had a cost. (your time, or your cash dollars)
and a direct nerf or change to that item is a horrible method for balance...
instead of making direct nerfs to existing elements, they should buff other aspects, or introduce new elements to render the power of that item less.

People like you I understand, people who says "WHY DO ONLY I HAVE TO DO IT", I don't understand.

I think what bothers me is the lack of cominication, it would be nice to have some idea where supercell is heading. we dont even know that there will be an update. I just finished my Legos, and was going to head to Th 10. I really wanted to farmy my lavas, but I think my wall are whats causing war mismatching, as many people run too th 10 at this point. With an update around the corner i just may hang tight.

I personally would feel most offended by the fact that they took 4 away and instead of writing 6 they wrote 7 insinuating that I cannot even do simple math.

Also you aren't OWED anything other then a level 40 (or whatever level you have) hero. When they changed the stats on heroes they changed everyone's heroes. It wasn't just yours. While I was in Unity I learned to focus on hero upgrades and that's what I have been doing. I didn't like the hero change at all, my bk went from my favorite hero to what felt like a very flimsy punching bag. So, I have begun to adjust. I now put more emphasis on upgrading my AQ and accept that the heroes have been changed. I don't like it, but I don't deserve a refund on gems spent in game. Most people who I know who got refunds just used their gems on boosting. They weren't asking to have the gold and dark elixir returned, or their hero levels taken back in exchange for their cash. I could respect that more then this "I want a refund but I'm not going to actually return anything myself" attitude.

In conclusion, 10-4=6.

Also you aren't OWED anything other then a level 40 (or whatever level you have) hero. When they changed the stats on heroes they changed everyone's heroes. It wasn't just yours. While I was in Unity I learned to focus on hero upgrades and that's what I have been doing. I didn't like the hero change at all, my bk went from my favorite hero to what felt like a very flimsy punching bag. So, I have begun to adjust. I now put more emphasis on upgrading my AQ and accept that the heroes have been changed. I don't like it, but I don't deserve a refund on gems spent in game. Most people who I know who got refunds just used their gems on boosting. They weren't asking to have the gold and dark elixir returned, or their hero levels taken back in exchange for their cash. I could respect that more then this "I want a refund but I'm not going to actually return anything myself" attitude.

In conclusion, 10-4=6.

but uhm, hey if u spent $20 for 2500 gems, and u got those gems, then went to sleep, and sc decided u kno what $20 gets u 1000 gems now, so they change ur 2500 gems to 1000 gems... but they do it for everyone than its cool right? i mean u arent owed gems bro, and they did it equally across the board, so its all good.

May i ask where you got this info about the wall changes? like the hint? is there other info there?

That didn't happen so I don't understand your point. Do you think that people should have received refunds when hogs were nerfed (take your pic any number of times they've done it)? Because there was a time when they were very OP, and most of my friends hurried to get them to lvl 5 just in time for them to be less effective then they were.

That's a similar example to what has happened with heroes.

but yes lets get back on the positive note... lego's look dope~ i like em, took me alil over a month and a half... i wouldnt say i was obsessed but i did spend 4hrs minimum every day, with all reg racks boosted, and heroes boosted.
luckly for me my clan wins clan wars like crazy so cw gold loot did help ease the pain..

this sense of accomplishment is good, just eerie about it finishing the day after the announce they may be doing something with walls...
plz dont make my grind a waste.
