I made the decision to max my heroes instead of focusing on walls. It took 2 months of boosts but i had to focus on the DE storages only. Too hard to get Gold and DE. The new jump spell is so effective that it renders walls pretty ineffective (ie: WB outer wall, clear compartment and jump to core). Max Heroes also helped me win more stars than i lost on Defence in CW.

at the higher lvls of heroes for sure, but until they get to about lvl20, i think u can farm both effectively.... (i'm not gemming heroe's time, rather gemming barracks to farm, gold.... and de.)

but ofc all this is really for wars... if we are talking pushing like u said, jump spell voids any value in walls, since 1star is a win...
what they rly should do is make the higher lvl walls do some minor amount of dmg to "jumping troops" to specify not flying troops, only jumping troops like hogs (yes further harm them!) and any troops that hop a wall via jump.... ofc since the majority of troops jumping would be pekka's and heroes the dmg would be very minor, but it would encourage and give further incentive to spend time farming walls... which also = money for sc..
(iono bout u but i farm best when my racks are boosted)

Sure SC refunded people on heros, but should they have? Its a product. Sure you can argue they altered an already purchased thing but its an online game, dem' da risks.

weither u spent time or money on a product, it is a product that had a cost. (your time, or your cash dollars)
and a direct nerf or change to that item is a horrible method for balance...
instead of making direct nerfs to existing elements, they should buff other aspects, or introduce new elements to render the power of that item less.
People who grinded out heroes ARE OWED that item they bought with their time or money. and when SC nerfed it, they essentially pulled a switcharoo, its like you bought a 10pack of shirts, than a rep came to your home and took 4 shirts back, than took a sharpie and crossed out 10 and wrote 7, u'd feel like u were owed 10 right?
People BOUGHT heroe's because of their important role and stats, when sc changed the stats they altered the product and essentially swapped out the item for a lesser item.

The intelligent way to balance hero's would have been to buff defenses, or introduce new defs that had a favorite target of heroes...
if i grind out walls, and sc makes walls cheaper, essentially overcharging me, i feel i am OWED compensation for the time, and money i spent O_O

The thing about not reducing wall price is pointless and somewhat selfish.

Those who wanted the the price because they alread paid their dough for the OVERPRICED walls, this is the same as "I did it so I want the future generation of players to suffer like me, instead of ending the rage threads."

Like, cant you guys at least afford a tiny bit reduction

selfish... maybe.... i still gotta suffer through lava's, if i can do it, so can you!

also no one says you HAVE to get ur walls up, its not like its mandatory, besides with the prices as they are now, finishing legos, lavas, blue waffles its an ACCOMPLISHMENT... if u make it cheaper, u also cheapen the accomplishment...

EARN UR WALLS, stop expecting waiting for sc's version of food stamps.

but yes lets get back on the positive note... lego's look dope~ i like em, took me alil over a month and a half... i wouldnt say i was obsessed but i did spend 4hrs minimum every day, with all reg racks boosted, and heroes boosted.
luckly for me my clan wins clan wars like crazy so cw gold loot did help ease the pain..

this sense of accomplishment is good, just eerie about it finishing the day after the announce they may be doing something with walls...
plz dont make my grind a waste.

Great job, i thought the same.. then i started lavas - the most relaxing thing to farm ever.. im currently 82 lavas in and loving in.. give it a try

People like you I understand, people who says "WHY DO ONLY I HAVE TO DO IT", I don't understand.

I think what bothers me is the lack of cominication, it would be nice to have some idea where supercell is heading. we dont even know that there will be an update. I just finished my Legos, and was going to head to Th 10. I really wanted to farmy my lavas, but I think my wall are whats causing war mismatching, as many people run too th 10 at this point. With an update around the corner i just may hang tight.

I personally would feel most offended by the fact that they took 4 away and instead of writing 6 they wrote 7 insinuating that I cannot even do simple math.

Also you aren't OWED anything other then a level 40 (or whatever level you have) hero. When they changed the stats on heroes they changed everyone's heroes. It wasn't just yours. While I was in Unity I learned to focus on hero upgrades and that's what I have been doing. I didn't like the hero change at all, my bk went from my favorite hero to what felt like a very flimsy punching bag. So, I have begun to adjust. I now put more emphasis on upgrading my AQ and accept that the heroes have been changed. I don't like it, but I don't deserve a refund on gems spent in game. Most people who I know who got refunds just used their gems on boosting. They weren't asking to have the gold and dark elixir returned, or their hero levels taken back in exchange for their cash. I could respect that more then this "I want a refund but I'm not going to actually return anything myself" attitude.

In conclusion, 10-4=6.
