I know but it's FAR more than that bro

My ccw sometimes filled with valkyrie + barbs, dragons+ archers, witch+ wiz and still can't decide which is best lol. But it's true that witch can sabotage mass dragon attacker if they're not experienced enough. As a mass dragon attacker I've experienced it myself, but lesson learnt. Never drop BK/AQ before the cc troops are completely gone

Other ground troops will not go out from CC. Only sceletons from witch.

The point i think you are missing is the skeletons will not be produced by witches in an all air attack.

Witches will only produce skeletons if you deploy ground troops.

But I use king or queen to help my dragons go to the core of the base.
Many people still do not know about the skeletons.
Therefore, when choosing between a dragon and a witch, I will choose the witch.

Are way too easily to be drawn out unless you're TH 10 or 9 (they're good at defending against gowiwi attacks). TH8 and below, witches, wizards, archers... will make it hard to draw out. I've posted several replays on my youtube channel, it might help with strategy. Good Luck!
