Just a thought I had, if there was a submit button once all cc's are full, both clans can submit and start the war earlier than the 24 hours.
Another idea i had was members being able to opt out of war without leaving the clan. Some of our regulars choose not to war so often so have to leave and pop back.

Sounds good to me. I also this they should shorten the battle day. If it was only 12 hours long, it would be much more exciting to watch.
If both clans were down for an early start, that sounds fine. As to shortened war day? The only way I think that'd be fine is if both clans used all of their attacks. Then yes, war should end early. Otherwise, if members are using things like GoWiPe, it might not be feasible to build 2 attacks in 12 hours.
