Dark Elixir is good... better than the Gold League. I went to Crystal III to get some Dark Elixer. But, Gold and Elixir sucks there. I farm better Gold and Elixir in Gold II. I say that as a TH8.

two weeks ago us th 9 were finding a ton of collector bases... I was pulling 1 mill an hour up there with bam!! however the hotspot moved down so I followed it haha!
"Crystal" is vague. Very vague.
Been sitting in between 2200 and 2000 for the previous two weeks and the loot was horrible. Today is the first day with good loot at ~2150 trophies. But I will keep climbing to maybe master :D
I'm trying out the 2400-2500 range, aiming for inactives 200k's. They usually show up every 100k worth of nexting, usually less but there is the occasional odd time where I next for 30 minutes and still nothing (even aiming for 150k by then).
I've gotten a couple 600k raids maybe one or twice a day so it's not too bad. :)
