Should I upgrade to Town Hall 9?

As you can see my walls are not all level 7 yet and all my towers are not completely done, but I've had a lot of builders wasted lately because all of my upgrades left cost gold instead of elixir. All of my lab upgrades are done and I'm not really interested in maxing out my Dark Barracks yet.

So should I start the upgrade to TH9 now and try to complete the walls over the 12 days it takes to build or wait longer? Any input would help thanks :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused:

It takes 10 days to build th9.

Get your walls up till atleast lvl 7.

I would get all walls up to lvl 7 and get at least a few skulls. If I were you I would go full skulls because you dont have much to upgrade anymore. Try getting your barb king maxed too!;)

I maxed out at th 8 and so upgraded to th 9. And guess what, it becomes harder to find good loots. Moreover, you are constantly under attacked by th 9 to 10 players as your th 9 base would become more attractive to them (more loot available).

All walls to 7 at the very least. Go the extra mile if you're up to it.

Also max all your defensive buildings before moving up.

Finish off your AD's and Tesla's. Those take a while so as they are upgrading keep one builder free and work on the walls. By the time they are done you should be about full skull. I look at TH8 as laying the foundation for TH9/10. With the massive amount of Tesla upgrades you really should do it, they don't really get good until lvl6.

Start your upgrade. You'll be fine. Don't waste any more time at TH8, TH9 provides so many advantages over TH8.

TH9 gives you...
... better resource protection (4 storages)
... 4'800 DE per day
... stronger farming (lv6 troops)
... archer queen
... another wizard tower.
And much more.

Why max out those teslas from lv4 to lv6 if you could have access to all the good stuff five weeks earlier?


Finish up your walls to lv7 though.

Do a tesla, that last archer tower, that last AD, and dark barracks while your TH is upgrading.
