New tournament

Hello clash of clans members, I think I have an idea to make the game a lot more fun for members here's my idea. Ok I'm level 36 so their should be a tournament for each level like all people in clash of clans would be competing to get the most trophies at level 36 and every other level but you could only attack people that are your level so can't bash people lower than your self to get to the leader board. It would make the game a lot more exciting and fun to try to get to the leader board and you wouldn't be able to buy shields because if some one got to 1 of his level then he could buy a shield so you would have to take away the shield if you get defeated. I hope one day this could become a real tournament in clash of clans it would allow everyone to have an attempt for the leader board since their would be so many winners many 100 gems for a winner? The tournament should only last 24 hours. Sign if you like the idea!

Thanks for sending the link, and yea would be mean because unlike a lot of the other tournaments this would have everyone with the same amount of possible upgrades and therefore be how you've upgraded your base rather than having some overpowered person dominating, I think would b mean to include over 2 levels though so if someone does really level up during the tourney that they are not excluded

hmm maybe leveling up during up the tournament should be canceled? Just to make it even? And do you agree with my idea? You could /sign it

That would be awesome! However, the bad part is that with all these gems going around, not as many people would buy them, and supercell would not like that. So, they wouldn't put it in. However, if the prize was maybe a certain amount of gold and elixer, that would work. And perhaps the person out of all the levels with the most trophies would get the gems.

Well in each level they are thousands of people that's a competition so maybe 50-100 gems wouldn't be bad I mean you can't really get much with that plus this gives every one a chance for gems not only the leader board.

Is there a limit to leveling up? If there isn't, this would be near impossible. And think about it. If the max level was 100, that would be giving away 100,000 gems each time this contest happens. Maybe just a bit less gems when you win. And the person with the most trophies out of all the levels gets extra!

Not one person 100 people will get 50-100 gems for competing against thousands! And it doesn't seem fair that only the same people always win on the leader board this would make every one able to compete not only those that are high level.

Well I doubt they are a lot of people that are level 200 but the main point of this Is Too Allow Every One A Chance For The Leader Board And A Competition For Gems And Some Fun.

Not a good idea.

- donating troops gives u exp. People will just not donate troops to keep their level as low as possible. to be as strong as possible on the lowest possible level.

- leveling up gold and elixer mines/pumps gives u exp. People can get enough gold/elix from attacking. they would just build 2 mines and 2 pumps for when they run out. harder to get 50% on them. less exp for leveling them up.

- There would be pure offend style people. People who dont level anything up, except for Town hall, barrack, troop camps. upgraded troops lvl 5. no defence, no walls, nothing. they will have pekka and lvl 5 rangers at level 20. they just do 10 attacks in a row and win like 150 trophies. they lose like 20-30 when they get beat down (but get shield).

- There will be pure tanks. all rescourse producing mines/pumps to max lvl. they wont attack at all (attacking also gives exp). they just have mega strong defence. lvl 25 who have th 9 + x bow + lvl 5 mortars + wiz towers + teslas.

Maybe lower amount of gems at lower levels and increase them a bit as the levels get higher, and yea realy like this idea because as I said previously people couldn't have a good reason to complain due to that your all the same level

I didn't understand some of the stuff you said. This will only last 24 hours and during the tournament people will not be able to gain XP so it people won't stop donating. And the rest of the stuff doesn't make by sense a level 25 with X-Bow I'm not sure what your trying to say but, This tournament idea is great even if their a few minor flaws which I can't see cook pared to the tournament now this 100x better And it gives every one a chance dispite your level.

You don't understand because you are so hung up on using levels for things that you refuse to see reason.

Their post makes perfect sense. If you create a tournament centered around treating each level as an individual bracket, people will attempt to keep their levels as low as possible while having as high attack as possible. This means no troop donations, no non attack related buildings such as collectors just as they said.

It certainly is possible to have a x-bow at level 25ish. Again you refuse to acknowledge how levels in this game work, despite being told over and over. There was a base that was level 24 with a level 9 th.

Then you always argue that it doesn't matter this would create a terrible exploit ridden environment, because some how this would be 100x better than the one we have now.

I beg of you, just once try to see reason.

Because my definition of fun does not involve a system that encourages people to exploit it by not upgrading or troop donating. That is in fact my definition of hell.

I see what goku is trying to say, keep everything the same and instead of the same level make it say... 5 level difference? Keep the leveling up & everything the same, people wont upgrade defenses during a tournament most likely so if they leveled up it would be mainly storages or mines & collectors.

I agree we need more things to keep the lower level players more involved, i would say the best rewards isnt gems but gold & elixir as a reward.

Maybe you should have to sign up for tournaments & then the game splits people up evenly within a 24hour sign up period then a 24-48 hour tournament time.

Just a vague idea

Hi all,
i think the basic concept isn't bad. My idea is to create more tournaments on the basis of "clans average levels".
For example
1. Division (clan average lvl > 90)
2. Division (clan average lvl 80 >< 90)
3. Division (clan average lvl 70 >< 80)
and so on

What do you think?
