Smooth&fast scrolling for friend bar [IOS]

Currently, the friend bar is stuttery due to loading facebook images of friends.
This causes micro-freezes while scrolling the friend list. It's very hard to scroll to lower level friends if you have 100+ friends.(even harder with 300+ !)
Can you please make scrolling smoother and easier ? For example a button to skip to the end or beginning of the list.
And you can prevent these loading images to cause freezes for faster and smoother friend bar browsing.
I don't know if this is an IOS specific problem, but we don't experience this on our android tablet.
(for extra information: I have more gamecenter friends than facebook friends, gc loading times may be the cause)

I'm having the same problem, I have around 400 friends, wish we could have and option for not to load all those images.
Really hard to scroll down to a low level..

I have 400ish friends too, and It's very hard to scroll to my 14-15 lvl friends.
Those micro-freezes because of loading fb profile pictures slow it.

+1. Scrolling through friends is tedious and painful. And it seems fairly obvious this is an implementation deficiency, not a gameplay decision.
