League update: FEEDBACK here

Like what I said in another thread yesterday, life goes on for farmers. Now we hv a shining badge beside our game name, that’s about it.
The league is a smaller trophy system that we used to ignore, and reset after 2wks. League position is based on cups, not attack or def wins. Stats just for show and tell.
No reward by being top, top3 or top5. The meaning of “top of league” is bottom of next league, so I doubt reward will be given otherwise I’ll manipulate to stay top 3/5 (Which is what COC try to address, the complaint by cuppers about farmers losing on purpose and keeping TH outside.)
Long thread, only follow a few pages, skip along the way. Ignore if these have been pointed out.

I think all the little tweaks are great and will make playing CoC a lot better.

But the big part of the update, the leages, I dont understand.
There is now a bonus loot depending on your the trophy level. Thats great. But you can give these loots without the leages.

So why are there the leages?
- They do nothing (loot bonus is depending on your trophy level).
- Leage table says nothing. Its just 100 (unkonwn) players in your trophy range

Or am I missing something?

The loot. If you simply add more available loot for everyone the whole system would be perfect. I get you like people being able to protect resources from farmers but a couple of k isn't enough to compensate for normal attackers. And it isn't hard to one star while farming.

You can't really say add more loot that'll fix it! Soon everyone will start to have maxed out bases then you won't be able to win any raids with using 4 spells... Then the complaints start all over again. The purpose of this update wasn't make sure everyone always has full storages. You want more loot? Go raid more its pretty simple. Take the bonus and be happy it will add up over time.

The leagues are a miss for me I'm afraid - the bonuses are so small that they're not really worth pursuing. And I couldn't care less where my ranking is among some randomly selected sample of people in a similar trophy range.

Coupled with the fact that the updated mortars with predictive aiming and additional wizard tower appears to have been a deliberate weakening of tactics that rely on mass troops, the whole update was a bit of a miss.

Your an absolute tool and show very little in the way of common sense so I'll try to explain it to you in terms you might understand.

One of the things SC was hoping to achieve with league bonus rewards was to get players lvl 75+ to start farming trophy's rather than preying on lvl 45+ players to farm resources to save for upgrades. What farming players are telling SC is that the bonus rewards are not enough to entice them to start farming cups rather than resources. We have been farming lower lvl players for a considerable time and quite happy to do so, it is new & lower lvl players that are unhappy which makes SC unhappy because we discourage new and future players from participating.

We don't expect anything, we are quite happy to continue playing as we have, it is SC that expects us to change how we play. All we are doing is informing SC that the victory bonus rewards are not enough to encourage us to chase trophy's rather than farm. I hope you understand more clearly what is being said, so rather than criticize and rant like a lunatic help SC come up with a solution. If you think this patch was to help "pay to win" players primarily you are delusional and furthermore an entire paragraph of caps is most unattractive and only shows your lack of maturity.

I think everyone should mind their own, say what you have to say on it, everyone's entitled to their opinion; but don't go making your own thread on the matter. It makes you look like an idiot, either way, whether you're for or against the updates.

My thoughts, after a full day's play;

The league is pointless. I'm hanging in around the upper section of 'Silver 1' - I have more attacks/wins than anyone else around me because I jumped through from Silver III - your wins are not taken into account, in fact nothing is, bar your trophy count. Pointless. You're top of one league one day, and bottom of the next one up another day ... and so on, until you reach the max you can without spending a tonne.

There's no reward for good players.

The game has crashed on me at least 5 times since update too. It just hangs when searching for a base to attack ... then drops out and the game just closes. Great ... Not fun for someone who likes to use their gems to speed up troops - the only reason I buy them lately.

I sincerely think that SC should give back at least 10% to anyone who spent on the game. No matter the amount. Give it back in gems at least. Because I feel most of these "updates" should have been default in the game upon release. They're using players as guinea pigs really - like some lengthy Beta testing. BUT ... taking their money on the side.

No other business would work in this manner.

btw, I'm not asking for anyone else's opinion, have your own, and stop trying to moderate ... we all have a right to our own, no matter what it be. The only ones who should be responding to posts here are SC staff.

Since december i have been raiding like theres no tomorrow while you constantly make it harder and harder for legit non gemmers to make any progress... We are the players that actually have passion for this game and are actually trying to upgrade our bases and armies to become better players.... And what do you do for us??? Brush us aside and go back to kissing the asses of the "Elite" players who spend thousands of dollars just because of their ego.....

This is the failed world we live in... You reward players who take shortcuts and fill your pockets while the rest of us who play this game legit get punished because of our financial decisions...

At one point in time there was a nice balance in this game... Like it or not farming is an essential part of these style of games... How else are we supposed to get the millions And millions of gold and elixir required for upgrades??? And then you throw it back in our face because we are meaningless to you....

Is the whole point to eliminate the people actually playing the game and turn it into an online ego contest of who can spend more money???? Are we not good enough to play the game because we wont spend 500 dollars for lvl 8 walls?? As if the 200k a piece for 225 walls wasnt enough already for lvl 7.....

With every update your intentions become clearer and clearer... This game is not about fun and entertainment for the everyday player... Its all about stuffing your pockets....

Hey upgrade your hero to make it stronger... But guess what... Now its gonna take an extra 20 minutes for it to recharge... Isnt that a down grade and not an upgrade???

You finally realized this with the spell factory... Why is upgrading going to make the spell take longer to make... Take a hint from your own play book and fix this mess you have created... Upgrades are to make things better....

7 million for cc5??? Are you serious??? Thats comparable to the trashy lvl 6 archer upgrade.... How do you come up with these numbers???

...Besides all the negative feedback .... It's free loot... and They are beta testing it right now...give them a break.... they will see that most users will still afloat in the ranges above 1000 below 1600.... and they will have to alter their "Bonuses" numbers... ( lately supacell surpiced me in a good way.. they do listen to feedback... de troops... air bombs... they are late in some other fixes like mortars/wiz bug and " meaningless trophies"... )

As a start is good... but trophies still have no Value ....
