So you're embarrassed that you were "outed" as a gemmer by someone with poorer skills than you?

Sounds like it's YOU that has the problem and not the other person.

YOU want to hide your "shame" from other people so they take you seriously? You need to grow up and let your achievements speak for themselves (pun intended). If this person doesn't respect your opinion, they are not going take your advice even if you didn't gem.

As to your clan mates not defending you, why do they need to? Perhaps you should have asked your mummy to come over and tell him grow up.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but you do seem to have the problems and not your clan mates.

gonna start out by saying that i dont care if people want to spend money on the game, cause without the ones that do we probably wouldnt still be playing BUT a question for the OP.

OP, how do you feel about the gemmers who will be disrespectful and show immense arrogance towards the people who are playing the game without gemming? They then usually mock the other persons wealth as well from what i have seen, so it is a 2 way street, maybe if those rude gemmers were more respectful then the other gemmers would be shown more respect by other people.


back on topic, the gold grab and elixir escapade are good ways to see how much experience someone has because obviously the people who have raided more and been playing longer will have higher amounts. and id rather have and experienced th8 than a gemmed th9 as the th8 is more likely to know what they are talking about in my opinion

I disagree, if your a clan leader recruiting new members the achievements tell you all you need to know, the whole point of achievements is to show them off to others, same goes for play station trophies and xbox achievements.

No matter how you play someone will have something negative to say about you, if you gem people will say you just bought your base and you didn't have the skill to play the game, but if you don't gem and you have a strong base people will tell you you have no life

Worse, he is a TH 2 noob who thinks that people will able to steal his gold by looking at his personal achievements or something...

Acheivements are a good measure to use when recruiting/accepting new people so i'd be disappointed if they disappeared.

I'd bet my left toe that someone who cares whether you've used gems or not wouldnt really take advice from anyone.

a little like the 'rate my base' kids in global who take a hissy fit when you tell them that clumping their base in a corner doesnt work.

Instead of hiding your achievements, it seems you would be better off with a clan that shows respect towards your war skills, rather than you being a gemmer or not.
In my clan we are with gemmers... wouldn't be the first time a 'gemmer' gemmed high end troops for me when I needed them right away.

Just find yourself a new clan!
