No. Leave my stuff alone.
Supercell distributes gems evenly among all players as I understand it, and everyone would have the same opportunity to steal gems from other players. You win some, you lose some.
Not if your builder(s) had to sleep after being deployed, and not if people are smart and start using gem boxes as lures to kill your builders with hidden teslas, bombs and spring traps. And hey, if you want to steal gems all day and lose trophies so that you can build troops faster to steal more gems, to spend more gems on raiding gems, that's your prerogative, but it's a pretty pointless exercise if you are only using gems to build troops to steal more gems, at the end of the day you achieve nothing. And if gem boxes were lootable, people would be smarter about cleaning up their bases. On occasion you might find a base with obstacles that you could attempt to steal, but I doubt you'd be able to pull as many as you said, especially if your builder had to sleep for say an hour after being deployed and 12 hours if it got killed in battle.
I believe you are not grasping the point. The point is it's THEIR stuff. If they want to leave a tree here, it's their prerogative to do so. If all their builders are busy for the next 2 days, it's protected (as it should be).
If they want to leave trees outlining the entire outer edge of their base, that again is their prerogative.
Obstacles are off limits to attackers and for some, this is desired so that they can arrange randomly dropped obstacles in a decorative pattern. You (the attacker) have no right to ruin their decorative patterns; hence, obstacles are untouchable in attacks. There's a method to the madness and doesn't need tweaking.
Not if your builders have to sleep after being deployed, and not if people cleaned up their bases.
Yep, and everyone has one.
Perhaps you are missing the point. If I can remove your obstacles, you would be more inclined to remove them, as would everyone else. And if you can remove my obstacles, I can remove yours too. What goes around comes around. Same amount of gems in the game changes nothing in terms of SC profits. As far as strategy goes, you are also missing the point. Sure, you could just remove all of your obstacles, but you could also position traps around them to take out builders. Deploying builders would be a risk because they are so frail, and if hurt you would lose them for a long period of time, and if not hurt there would still be a delay before you could deploy them again.
I realize that reading is hard, but perhaps you should read the entire post before you start flaming other peoples posts. You may not like the idea, which is fine, but if you had read my entire post, then you would realize that I have put a lot of thought into it- certainly more thought than you put into your response. But by all means, if you think there are pros and/or cons that I have not thought about, please feel free to elaborate, or you could just crawl back into your parents basement and continue being a hater troll.
Thank you for sharing the link. I did search, but was not able to find anything because I was looking specifically for the idea of being able to deploy builders, which, in my humble opinion, is better than using troops to do it because builders remove obstacles and troops fight wars. And yeah, lots of haters and trolls on here, but that's to be expected, and I won't be deterred. This is just business as usual for the internets: nerds and kids acting tough behind the safety of their keyboards.
The point is that deploying builders would be a risk/reward situation. If you deploy your builder, there is a cost for doing it (they have to recoup after the raid is completed), there is a risk that they would get taken out in the raid (longer downtime if that happens) but there is a potential reward (potential because some obstacles don't give you anything, your builder could get knocked out before getting anything, etc). If you choose to use your builders to raid, then you run the risk of not being able to use them for any purpose until they have recouped. Otherwise it would be too easy to just go around raiding gems all day.
This will never happen if it does I will quit clash of clans for good!!!!
Supercell gives everyone the same amount of free GEMS, unless you don't cut down trees and such, that's when you begin to miss out on free GEMS!!
There is no reason to start gem farmers
And it would cut supercell profits because those that just get started in this game would no longer receive free GEMS which would make the game harder on them giving them no incentive to stick around!!!!!!
And before I go I have to say one thing!!
Leave my free GEMS alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I get your point and it makes sense on that note (that builders are the ones who remove things), however it is kind of nonsense to think about bringing along one's builders into battle. I do like where your head is at with the builder thing because it is much more original than the idea I had. I just thought the only way one should be able to try to remove other people's obstacles is if their army had already achieved 100% destruction AND there was still time left on the clock. That way, people can't just troll for other people's gems by dropping in a few builders around the perimeter where there is no protection.
