Deploy Available Builders in Raids

I did not see this listed in the exhaustive list of feature requests and rejected suggestions, so please forgive me if I missed it.

The idea is fairly simple. If a player has builders that are not currently working, then any free builders can be deployed in raids to raid obstacles like trees, rocks and gem boxes. The possible gem rewards would be the same as when you remove obstacles from your own map. Builders are not soldiers, so they would be incredibly weak, and if knocked out in action, they would require a nap, like the barbarian king, except perhaps somewhat longer, during which time they would not be available for building or raiding.

Hell no. I'd like my trees kept.

This is also suggested before, so in future please remember to use the search function and read the stickies.

Also keep in mind that not everyone's obstacles are in range of any defenses. This means that if a player didn't really care about trophies, he could be farming gems off of people's unprotected gem boxes and what not.

First of all, like I said, I read the sticky, and I read the post that has all the already received suggestions and ruled out suggestions and did not see this suggestion listed. I also searched the forum and didn't find it. Please post a link to it.

All the more reason to remove your obstacles, or set traps around them if you're so attached to them. Most people remove all of them anyway, but sometimes you see trees, rocks and even gem boxes. If this feature were to be implemented and someone were silly enough to leave an unprotected gem box, it'd be their loss.

It would add a new level of strategy to the game, it wouldn't change the quantity of gems super cell gives away, only the distribution, and only slightly.

Again, it's not necessarily the amount of gems that they are distributing that could cause the problem, it's who they are distributing them to, and with this suggestion, that becomes out of their control. I could spend a whole day farming gem boxes and probably get around 250+ gems per day. With that, I could infinitely gem my barracks thus making raiding so much more easier. Let alone, players would be even more less likely to buy gems.

This could be WAY too exploitable. People going down to sub 200 to farm gems, which will make SC lose a TON of profit.

farming gems, buying resources with the gems isn't really the spirit of the game. The point of the game is to attack for the resources (Gold, Elixer, Dark Elixer).

Your right, this would create a new level of strategy to the game... The bottom level of no strategy.
It would also make people less likely (very less likely might I add) to buy gems, which again, would make SC lose a TON of profit.

I like this idea, Im sure it's not going to hurt SC profits.

Here you go, homes. I got railed for this suggestion, too, although mine was about troops and not builders. People's main complaint was they didn't want their potential gems stolen, but it seems like they all forget that they get to take them during their raids, making it pretty even if you clear your map relatively often. As for liking trees on your map, then that would be your call because they would be fair game (I like my loot storage unmolested but I'm not going to suggest that other players can't attack them). I don't know how often it has been suggested so I can't vouch for the validity of the claims that this is oft-posted (I couldn't find it in the search, either). Good luck with getting yelled at for future suggestions...don't let the nay-sayers scare you off. Thanks for using the search function. It isn't fool proof but it was good of you to at least try.

I love the idea except the sleeping part! They shouldn't be able to raid for a while yes but build no all builders can build unless they are already constructing something!
