Hi guys, I just wanted to ask if I should upgrade my walls to level 7 or go TH8..... Am now upgrading my walls to level 6 and wondering abt this question after finishing my walls to level 6. Maxed out everything except for my barracks, Barbarian King, DE troops and mines+pumps. Researched everything too (Except for DE troops).
So yeah just wondering what you guys think! Thanks a lot if you answer my question. It will be a big help:D!
Go to TH 8. You don't need any walls over level 6.
You don't need to get level 7 walls at town hall 7. Go to town hall 8, upgrade your buildings, then start worrying about getting walls to 7 and 8. But great job getting them to 6! I see tons of town hall eights that still have level 5 walls! ;)
It mostly depends on you.
if you want a long term benefit,i'd do the walls to lvl 7.
it needs only 1 lvl 6 wb to break in a lvl 6 wall.
While that would change to 2 for lvl 7 walls.
So, if you go th9 again with lvl 6 walls, you will suffer alot.
And also , th8 has the most upgrades to do.
i think th7 has 175 walls.so 175*200,000=35M gold.
Thats quite a big number.
Just a perspective of what there is coming at th8.
50 extra walls(lvl 6 again?): 6m gold
mortars:3*1.6m: 4.8m
wiz:3*(1.9m+2.6m):13.5m
tesla:3*(2m+2.5m+3m):22.5m
Lets just stop here.Thats a total of 46.8 m gold.
We havent calculated the cost to build the new defenses.Archer towers and canons go 2 lvls up(lvl 10 archer tower:2.5m gold).Even a lvl 5 bomb costs a million here.
if you cant farm 35m at th7,it would be really tough for you to do the ugrades here.
Even if you can,you'd just add up the gold needed to farm without the ability to raid th6's.
so,if you ever plan on maxing walls or getting them to lvl 7,do it right now than doing it at th8.
Thanks guys! I think i will still stay at TH7 though, not for my walls but for my DE stuff. If it takes long, well I'll just use the gold collected from the mines to upgrade the walls as time passes. Or maybe I'll go to TH8... Just wanna ask if any of you have any good strategies for DE farming! Thanks a lot again!:o
Town Hall 9 is where you should start stocking up on wall upgrades.

then upgrade your lab and raiding troops to levl5. Stay at gold 2 league and never worry about gold and elix as long as you raid effectively. There's a lot of TH7s and TH8s for you to raid with 300k - 500k loots. :cool:
I am a th8 with 225 skull walls. Be careful with your walls, don't neglect them. Go for th8 though, worry about them there.
Thank you! After finishing my walls to 6 will go to TH8, but just asking cos my brother has Level 6 walls and he is a TH9 and I definitely do not want to be as pre-mature as him.:rolleyes:
Yep, you'll have plenty of time to upgrade your walls at th8. Keep one builder free for them and the others busy with your upgrades :D
