I have almost 5 million gold, and I'm starting to wonder what the best defenses to upgrade.
I'm TH9, and I didn't max TH8, so here's what I have
Mortars: 2 L7, 1 L6
X-Bow: 2 L1
Wizard Tower: 2 L6, 2 L5
Air Defense: 2 L5, 2 L4
Archer Tower: 2 L10, 3 L9, 1 L8
Cannon: 5 L10
Hidden Tesla: 3 L3, 1 L2
73 walls are pink, rest are purple
Thoughts?
I was thinking to do my X-Bow's? But I've heard I should max Mortars and WT's first?
Xbows are much better at lvl 3 so if you decide on them I'd focus on doing them both to 3 right away.
The teslas and air defenses are underdeveloped if you plan on maxing TH9 need to get started on those right away as they will take a long time to get to max lvl for TH9.
Ultimately you cannot go wrong upgrading those wiz towers to lvl 7 as they deal heavy damage to farming troops.
For CW if you are getting hit with mass drag put a builder on air defenses maxing those babies out.
Alright. We got some work to do here bud. I always recommend starting with splash (mortars and wiz towers). Xbows would be my next priority. They get SOOOO much better at 2 and Crazy better at 3.Quote:

Everything else would follow. Do the Air Def. next. A lot of people got on the Loonian bandwagon, so they can be a base saver.
Cannons and arch towers aren't as important, but still upgrade them. They can pick off barbs and archers and minions one arrow or cannon ball at a time.
Walls are not as important, but should still be all the same color, make them all purple when you can. If you leave a builder free while the rest are upgrading, pick away at them. :cool:
