I've been Barching in Gold II, and it's been pretty slow racking up DE. I was curious to see if anyone else has a better method?
One common way to go DE diving is to use giants from your barracks or higher level in CC and use them as tanks with wallbreakers to get your barch/bam to those DE storages. If not, just barch/bam with some wallbreakers to control the flow of your troops in the direction of the DE.Quote:

Best method is upgrade to TH9 then farm DE with good troops.
Alternatively, use Barch or BAM and save up a full storage of elixir, then use full Dragon raids (or Balloonion) and look for bases with at least 1000 DE.
DE at TH8 is a grind and not worth losing sleep over it. You can easily farm 10-50k DE per day as a TH9.
Best strategy (that I use):
Step 1) push to gold 1
Step 2) get 3 lightning spells
Step 3) find a high lvl player and zap his DE
Simple.
If not then barch or balloonian.
