Supercell needs to make a profit. If you don't like the prices. Simply don't buy gems.

So i think that the gems are a bit overpriced, but instead of dropping the price, maybe they should add more gems. like 700 gems for 5$ and 1600 for 10$, etc... until like 18000 for 100$
Would make me want to buy gems

they make a profit either way. gems are not a real object so they dont have to manufacture anything that cost money.
Most people who buy gems, pay for the largest package multiple times. I doubt supercell will make them cheaper.
It is basic economics.
I would buy a new BMW for $5000 but that doesn't mean they should lower their price just so I buy one...
In other words, if Supercell loses $500 from one customer to gain $5 from you, they are on the losing side of that equation.
