The players should donat spell to there clanmates the clan castle would house it just like troops
There has been many threads about this, so please make sure your thread is original and not a copy of the older threads about the same idea. Donating spells would take lots of elixir and would take along time to make, so i dont think this is needed in my opinion
How much it costs the donater or how long it takes should not be a factor. In fact, Golems and Pekka are more expensive and take a lot of time too.
It would make some sense to donate spells as they are used in attacks just like troops. But I assume if you did it you would still be able to only hold what your spell factory can hold, so it would only be for quick usage.
No.
Just... no.
i think it would be bad because you could give a new town hall 6 a max level heal and make it un balanced.
*sigh*
someone else who wants a feature that will blow the game apart
I guess some people cannot use the search bar
I dont care one way or the other - but how is it different than someone donating lvl6 giants, lvl 6 wizards, lvl5 hogs or lvl2 witches to lower level people?
I agree it creates an imbalance - but so do high level troops when given to low lvl members. I used to get lvl 6 giants all the time when I was a th4, 5 and 6 - it was awesome as those bad boys were unstoppable at that level.
I suppose the answer lies in the details (which we don't have because the OP didn't state any), but based on previous posts of this nature, people often suggested each spell taking up five CC spaces, similar to hog or giant.
Now take a TH9 for example, they can hold 4 spells themselves. They can also have a 30 capacity CC, that's an additional 6 spells that can be donated.
That means one can possess 10 usable spells in a single raid. Need I say more regarding imbalance? :p
*THAT* would be a bad imbalance and not how I would suggest doing it - in the unlikely event it was done.
A TH9 can hold 4 spells. A TH7 can hold 3 spells. with donations, the most spells a TH7 would be able to hold should still be 3. You would not be donating to their clan castle but to their spell factory. And it only holds 3.
So why even bother?
- If someone was in a rush they could get a spell donated to them rather than rebuild it. They still only get to hold their max
- It would allow someone to get a higher level spell - much like they can get a higher level troop
- Maybe they are just plumb broke and cant afford a spell
- I guess much like someone can get a troop they cant make, maybe they could get a spell they cant make too - like a jump or freeze spell
My vision of spell donation though would limit the person getting it to their existing max spells. Just like troop donations are limited to their clan castle upgrade limit.
I like the idea of donating to the factory.
Slight problem.
"Yay, I have a spell and some troops in my CC, let's go!"
*Proceeds to raid a base*.
"Hmmm, let's lightning this mortar".
*You cannot deploy units on the red area!*
o.o
How would you make it so that,
a) spells are restricted to whatever the receiver's TH level is;
b) troops cannot be deployed on a red area
c) it will still be useful
If people use multiple accounts, then they can donate spells to themselves, no?
One spell makes a lot difference in a battle.
To build 5 spells it takes up like 2 hours or more? With donating spells, you would be able to make a full attack every 20 minutes?
So I do not think that would be balanced. A top clan could trophy push the entire clan, donating spells to each other.
How about lightningstrikes?
If you have multiple accounts, then you can donate lightningstrikes to yourself, and farm Dark Elixer really fast.
This is no different than troops and multiple accounts. In fact I see it all the time when someone has multiple accounts they donate to themselves all the time.
For the person getting the spells, yes, they could attack again sooner. But to keep getting spells someone has to make them and spend the time.
Fair point. You could limit the request similar to the CC limit. It would still result in faster availability of spells but I do not see that as a huge problem. If you made the benefit to the donor smaller then the cost of the spells would limit how often people would be willing to do it.
I am not jumping up and down saying it should be done. Just describing what I think could be a reasonable way to donate spells. The concept seems workable.
I agree with you. But on the other hand, this method of farming is pretty costly and I dont find it really worth it. I suppose if you are maxed on elixir and cant use it for anything then cost is not an issue.
I tried it once and dropped 3 lvl 5 lightning spells on an DE storage. I do not remember the specifics but I think I only got about 500 of the 1200 available. I was quite disappointed with the results and have not done it since.
