Maxed all lab upgrades except those.
Am I considered eligible for TH9? Or should I stay longer to max most of the buildings?
Yes I know, I'm in Peter17$awesome, the second best clan in the whole world, next to Peter17$AWESOME.
Make sure you upgrade those Teslas while your TH is upgrading, they do a ton of damage and will help in the early stages of TH9. Also, I'd upgrade your heal spell as well while your TH is upgrading. Other than that, you're good to go, very similar to my base and I just started the upgrade for TH9. Good luck ^_^
EDIT: I didn't notice the archer towers aren't maxed. I would highly suggest doing that as they double as ground and air defense, which is going to be needed against Balloonion attacks that you will inevitably be hit by.

Teslas are pretty underestimated, like how we all underestimated air defense when we were young saps barely starting the game.
Try to get them as high as you think is right. I hate teslas because of their upgrade time but they get the job done.
Nope not ready unless you want to be a premmie. If you really want to upgrade then max your lab, BK and barracks.
PS. Dark Desires won't work well if you're only holding 20K. And Peter$ is the King of Noobs, in a good way.

Defense wise you are fine
Walls on the other hand... getting your lvl8 walls done now is better as you won't be doing walls for a while as a TH9.
Your base is good enough, though do a few of your skull walls.
PS. How to separate your troops? :P :P
I'd upgrade all your archer towers to lvl 10, dont worry about your teslas, they are a huge waste of time as they take so long, you can do them later they are cheap anyways.
If you are not bored of TH8 upgrade your walls, you have to do them eventually anyways. If you are getting sick and tired of TH8 then do them at TH9, wall farming can destroy your fun in the game.
Also you dont need to do dark elixir upgrades at TH8, because it is way easier to get DE at TH9 with 2 maxed drills.

I'd say you look about ready, as people are saying I would go ahead and upgrade your Tesla's to 4 or 5 first, they take forever but they are really good.
Walls I'd say aren't worth it yet. The majority of attackers (Especially in clan wars) will be using Hogs, Balloons, or Dragons. All of these troops ignore walls and thus it doesn't matter if your walls are level 4 or level 8. I wouldn't wait too long to do them in TH9 though (Like me, I was TH9 for about a year before I started upgrading to L8 walls, but I did rush a bit) maybe do them slowly as you have other upgrades going, but obviously your 25 new walls from TH9 should be a priority.
Archer Towers would help, but frankly I think they could be done at 9 and you'd be perfectly fine. I'd say the extra defenses and Crossbows especially are worth upgrading now for.

Im a 100% maxed out TH8, and imo i would at least get your BK up to 8. Level 10 BK is a monster, so upgrading him would be a good idea. Level 6 teslas would be a great thing to upgrade to. Also maybe get your archer towers upgraded.
The loot problem at th9 is VERY over said and isn't true in many ways. If you usually don't farm th7s (I farm off poor premie th8s) then you can make massive amounts of elixir for expensive troop upgrades. 90% of the loot complainers are still new th9s and are running on th8 armies. If you can farm through the lab as fast as possible as well as barracks gold won't be a problem.
Upgrade your walls and Tesla towers first.
I would at least max out defenses since you're too lazy to do walls/DE upgrades. But imo, you're not ready.
How many walls do I have to uograde to hold for th9?
Definitely do your archer towers. Teslas are nice too. Of course, maxing everything is more efficient, but do what makes the game fun for you!
How often do you attack? If you raid a lot and you aren''t typically targeting TH7s, then in my opinion, you have already wasted too much time in TH8 since you probably would have gotten better leverage for your offense with the larger army camps and upgrades to your key troops (whatever they may be). If you don't raid a lot, then you still probably have enough defenses that the majority of your attackers are going to be sniping your town hall. Assuming a goal for you is to be as powerful as possible at a particular moment, then you should base your decision on what benefit you will see staying at TH8 for X days/weeks vs what would you get at TH9.
As long as you don't plan on doing anything dramatic, TH9 will initially feel a lot like TH8, except with a lot more upgrades to dump elixir into.
