I'm about to start a push to masters and maybe farther. Anyway I was wondering wether it would be better to leave the th outside and hope for a snipe or protect it on the off chance of me wining on defense? I'm a new th 9 by the way.

When I do pushes, I leve my town hall outside. Reason is that the 'big ones' will surely pass you, looking for some to kill difficultly. Also, keep ur ressources down. Forgot to add that little ones will snipe you, giving you a shield, and it's an easy trophee gain.

I would suggest inside during daytime when you play and outside over night. Defence 2-4 nighttime without shield can cost you lot of loot.
Which in practice is kind of impossible, considering that the little ones up there are online 16h/24 and they get smashed the second after they log off. Unless you decide to keep pressing the revenge button for hours.Quote:

You didn't stay online enough. Which is a good thing anyway.
If you can't stay online often, leave the th outside.
If you leave your th outside you are more likely to get 2 starred and lose more trophies.
the rule i follow is throw your town hall outside once you hit a trophy count where you have no chance of winning a defense. im currently on a push and i threw my town hall outside as soon as i hit 3300
