Why do I get attacked so much?

I'm decently developed th9... level 8 and 9 walls and decent defense...
I lost 2 million gold and 13k DE in one day from being raided. Trying to save up gold for my x-bow level 3 and its a pain when every time i attack someone for 200k, someone raids me back for 300k. I have dark elixir in storage trying to upgrade my BK to level 7 but its stuck at 19k DE to 21K. Why do I get raided so much? Every 30 minutes i get notif saying my village got raided. My Town Hall outside and im at 1800 trophies. Just high level guys tearing into my base take out 2-3 sometimes 4 storages. Good base design that is successful, but i just get raided exceptionally frequently. Whats going on? Im afraid to raid cos every time i break my shield, somebody gonna come and steal all my gold again. I have 2.5M elixir, 5.5M gold and 20k DE in storages atm. how do i stop people raiding me?

also off topic but why is the chat keyboard so dodgy? half the letters i press dont register and it taps on stuff behind the keyboard. when i text ppl its fine

Multiple reasons. You're losing so much loot because you HAVE so much loot! That's why you're getting attacked so much. I guess you should spend the resources as quickly as possible

You have to raid consecutively without logging off--and try to minimize your available loot when you do. Having lots of available loot and logging off is as good as asking to get storage raided.

Really? This sort of thing only happens to me in crystal. Putting your th outside usually ensures that you get a shield each raid, but that doesnt seem to be the case with you; maybe just bad luck?
Also a pic of your base would be helpful.

You can not really stop people from attacking you. You are th9 and you are at 1800 trhopies, that's a good trophie range for your th.

What troops do you use to attack with? Do you use BARCH? or GOWIPE? Whatever you are using make sure to use something which trains fast and is effective and perhaps cheap too, like BARCH. In this area you will find decent amounts of loot and you can get a lot using barch.

If you will use barch you will atack every like 20 minutes, and if you will also join your account from time to time you won't be attacked in these 20 minutes. If you want to make sure nobody attacks you just stay online and attack when the troops are done, other than that is is about luck not to be found exactly in those 15-20 minutes.

I am also a th9 at 1854 trophies and I don't get attacked that often, even if yesterday I upgraded my CC to lvl 5 (I had 5mil gold in my storages). When you decide to attack a couple of times try to stay online more often.

If you have alot of loot, ppl will raid you and steal it. Keep your th outside so that ppl will snipe and leave.

If you will read his topic he did mention that he already has his th outside, even so he gets attacked on the storages..

By the way u can visit my village because i list my clan and my name in my signature. Yeh i keep town hall outside but they just attack my storages. And Im not at home so i cant keep my phone on all day and raid because battery gonna die. I just use giants and archers and barbs to farm... gets me good 4-5 million a day but i dont want to lose a lot from getting raided.

Stay online more. Get the resources you need, spend them then go offline. Try boosting some barracks to get them faster.

I had a look at your base and your storages look easy to get to in some way. Don't know if they are though, but based on your post it may be so.

Search me up and have a look at my base. I rarely ever get serious attacks and when they do they get max 2 gold storages. Most of the attacks are TH snipe. I'm at the same cup level as you and TH9 with currently 4mill + gold.

Try switching to a better farming base?

This, actually. Only 2/4 gold storages in your base have true mortar protection, none of them have WT coverage. I would hit that base all day long. I would recommend swapping to a base with better splash coverage.

Your base is also hog ring... how often are you getting hit by hogs? I am also around 1800 and virtually never see them, and I don't have a hog ring. I would think changing your base to what is efficient for what you are being hit with would help.

actually i just changed my base... sorry to confuse u guys. i want to try anti-hog for now because my clan mate showed me a successful defense with it against giants and healers, which is most common problem for me. i use this base in clan war with pleasing results

my old base had great splash coverage and hard to reach storages... they usually only got to 2 - 3 but this new one aims to make giants go the wrong way

TH 9 and many TH 10 farm at gold league. This means you'll get attacked by these people much more often if you stay there. If you want a safer place to hide your loot, try Silver league or crystal.

Well you have an xbow upgrading. Your storages aren't covered by wt. Your mortar placement isn't very good. You have a lot of gold. You don't raid in sessions. Gonna be tough to do major upgrades.

Id suggest you change bases for a start as this one is not a good farming base. If you can't raid in sessions then work on point defences first and only do one xbow at a time.

Even your new base looks inviting. You have open funnels to chambers next to your gold storage. Also, your wizard tower does not provide good coverage for your gold storage. Your expectation are too low. You should only lose 1-2 gold storage at the most from raids. Typically my base only lose 1 gold storage when raided by Th9/10's, and that's mostly from them getting their AQ beat up.

I am working legos in between defensive upgrades so I seldom have more than 1.25M in my storages, but when it is time for a big upgrade I usually start holding gold until I get to roughly 2M. I am TH9 in crystal 3 so this is roughly the point where I start getting attention from people who can actually take it. Then I wait until I have 2 hours free and spend 40 gems boosting my barracks and go on a raiding frenzy. I have gotten all my x-bows, wiz towers, archer towers, clan castle, and air defenses maxed for TH9 using this strategy. I seldom lose any significant amount of loot. Most serious attacks are angry TH8s revenging with dragons and pekkas and one star at 20% (my TH is exposed).

I checked out your base. You have two compartments with 3 storages. I would take all 6 storages easily if I attacked from both sides.

Also, the fact that the storages are behind 1 layer of wall, makes it seem like your base is a easy target. I know you probably have spring traps and giant bombs in your first layer ring, but a lot of attackers don't consider this when they deploy wb's.

Your base is easy to loot. Very inviting. I can loot you with barch

Found this labyrinth base online... its actually rlly bad at defending but it looks dodgy and full of traps so attkers are deterred. This one maxed TH9 sniped me instead of raiding me and he had full giant wiz army in his camps and I had 2.5k DE and 350k gold to take. Now trying to save up for level 2 witch and ppl keep zapping my storage... this th10 dude zapped for 1750DE. If anyone got suggestion for better base pls show me link :)

Im th8. Doing walls atm and no elixir upgrades in lab. Havnt emtied my collectors for over a month now :P Doing minions atm in lab so de is somewhat high. So low gold, high elixir and high de. Everything is maxed except walls at th8. Im getting raided alot too and if a th9/th10 comes by there is not much i can do against those lvl6 units.

The average loot that gets raided from me is:

~30k gold
~400k elixir
~1.5k de

So, unless you are low on elixir i dont get why you would attack me. From what I can see there are alot easier bases around in my trophy range, ~2k.

I have never been raided for 30+ trophies. I dont get. It's just quite annoying. Oh well, it's not like I need the elixir anyway and the rest i can easily make up for.

Do not log out in-between raids.

what trophy level do you recommend for the farming? I also keep getting attacked by maxed out th9s and th10s every time I log off. Its so hard to collect resources especially since I'm a newly developed th9:mad:
