Hi guys
I have finally completely maxed out my th7.Except de upgrades.I got lvl 1 king.Rest every single thing including walls are maxed.I m going to be th8 in a few days so I needed advice.
Whats the best way to max th8.How should I balance skull walls and buildings?
Should I even max walls or no.I like the look of them alot though
Mortar and wizard towers should be priority (from my experience), then the AD, cannons and archer towers and walls and teslas last (because they are the most tedious).
TBH it doesn't matter what Town Hall you go to, when you first go up you'll be weak for a while... Just keep those builders busy and before you know it, you'll be stressing about being a weak TH9! :)
Leave the walls until you have spare gold and upgrade then. Level 7 and 8 walls both require 2 wb, so their good to have but not urgent
Well from what i gather its incredibly boring and tedious but i like having an awesome looking base so for looks i have the capacity to do that.
Maybe get loot for an upgrade and dump extra into walls
I would suggest to upgrade lab first. Leave the walls until you have spare gold.
if you are doing 24/7 wars i would recommend upgrading air defences quite early as from what i have seen it is common for early townhall 8s to be 3 starred easily by all dragons. Mortars and wizard towers obviously also and cannons are cheap so you can upgrade some of them if you are low on gold to keep your builders busy. Upgrade your lab first also.

Then I say do the Teslas (they have the highest DPS for the TH8 turrets due to raw speed, and hit ground AND Air troops!) they are cheap to build, but take for ever; which is why I recommend you do them early as there is big payoff near the end.
I always recommend that you go heavy on walls while you get the elix-based upgrades during the early part of your TH life. reason being it will save you the grief of ONLY having walls to do late(er) in the TH build life cycle when you are generally doing lab stuff and all remaining turrets are done anyhow. This, IME is a good way to balance them through out the life of your TH.. and though lvl 8 requires same WBs to bust a lvl 7, people always seem to fail to relate, that its not just WBs that bust through walls, and Giants and Gobs really struggle to get through skull walls. Start in the core and work your way out..
do a bunch of walls on the weekends, or divide the number of walls by the number of turrets you have and do 'X' amount of walls after you do an upgrade, so by the time you finish all your turrets all your walls will be done too. There are two schools of thought on walls, 1) leave a builder free and do them as you get loots, or 2) fill your storage and do a few before you start an upgrade.. both work, I lean toward method 2 personally.
As far as cannons and ATs I recommend doing them one at a time to max, so they see you have a few maxed turrets of each type. but generally these can be left toward the end, its your choice really. some will do a point turret while they have splash down to balance out the "don't do multiple splash turrets at the same time' theory.. (which I ignore; short term pain, long term gain)
remember most turrets get 2x upgrades in TH8 so at this stage things start getting expensive to get, and storing loot can be bothersome.. (you will be prime TH9 target now) thus my advise for going in on walls early.

The first thing you should do would be to get all of the towers and walls into your village. Just having them there kind of lets you know what you can upgrade while you are playing and what you can upgrade before you get off. The first thing you should upgrade before you do anything would be your lab. Upgrading your archers and barbs first would be ideal because barb-arch is the most efficient way to farm.

Use a builder dedicated to your Teslas. They take forever but at Level 6 they do some damage to the TH9 attacker's :).
Skull Walls are nice, do one and another as you wait for your research upgrades as you go along. Place them strategically to lead attackers to your purple walls and kill zones. Psychologically attackers will go where skulls aren't ...
Plan on being meat for the first few weeks as everything upgrades. After your troops are well into upgrading, go for Crystal League ( warning, its going to cost a ton in elixer as a young 8) ... Get the gems and your fourth builder.
That was the advice given to me when I upgraded to 8. I have no regrets in following it and passing it on.
