[Trion] TH7 Farming Base

Hi, this is my first time posting reply on this forum :o. Btw, I've been using this base since last 3-4 weeks. It perform really good! Since using this base, people often only sniping my TH. Some people use full archer and could only destroy my outer building, not even touching my storage :D. I had been attacked by some TH 8/9 too, but only ONE people that really 3* me (maybe because my loot is bad, my trophies is not so high (around 1200-1300), or too frightened to attack me :p). I really like the segmented core, because it makes it harder to destroy everything :cool:. The segmented walls is really helping to hold Giants attacking the defense. The traps are well placed. It's always useful when someone attacking me and really decrease their power especially if they using Giants and get knocked out by the Spring Traps.

I used the mungoflago version and edited it a little bit. I used some walls to make some of my collector inside the wall in front of the Wizard Tower. I think this will defense my Wizard Tower more. I used the walls that used to defense the outer Archer Tower. Everything works really great though.

Full archer (192), could only damage the outer building

Attacked North-West section, could only get 1 Elixir, then using BK, from North into the core, getting 1 Gold, and DE (with the help of Archers). All of my Mortar is still upgrading :p

Attacked South-West section, using Archers to destroy AD, then using 2 Dragons that get into the core, but defeated by the North AD. Mortar is trill upgrading too :p

Overall, this base is really great :thumbsup:
I've been using One Ring and Spiral Sanctuary before, but in my opinions, this layout is a little bit better (or maybe because my defense is better than last time I used them both? :confused:) than them. This layout defend storages really good! :thumbsup:

Thanks for the great base, DokuganR. Really appreciated your great thread and detailed information. Hopefully, I'll use this base 'till I'm upgrading my TH to TH 8 ;)

Well, there's plenty of 2x2 spots in the base, it's really easy to fit it in.

Haven't read through the whole thread. Just wanted to add a thank you to the original base designer.

Just been using this base for about a week, and no-one's three-starred me yet.

Even against a dragon attack, it seemed to hold up surprisingly well.

Barch or goblin armies have no chance; the AI pathing is really smart. Mostly they attack from the south or to the sides, and they tend to flow around the base rather than head for the centre.

The trap placement is beautiful. I like the fact that the base seems to do most of its defence without using a single trap. This means the traps are still there for the next attacker, and also costs you a little less gold. The position of the seeking air mine is also good -- for some reason, people do deploy dragons, etc, from that corner.

The times people have come close to three-starring me... Well, one was a full-on balloon attack, but I think I might have had an AD and a wizard tower upgrading. Another time there was a bunch of hogs, but don't know what you can do about that.

The other times seemed to have these three things in common:
-- wallbreakers from the side combined with a bunch of giants (giants alone, without wallbreakers, definitely doesn't cut it)
-- often a healer
-- and usually with the archers/barbarians deployed afterwards in waves (so that they're less affected by traps and splash damage).

None of the giant/wallbreaker attacks was full wipe, though. Usually, at best, two storages, so thanks for the compartmentalisation.

I guess the main other thing to comment on is air sweeper position -- not sure where best to position it or point it. I have it as added distraction for giants on the north-west outside the wall.

Guess that's evidence that it still works after a year since the base was published. I can only dream of accomplishing a design so successful right now :rolleyes:
