Top end TH 9 to TH 10... Question.

So I am currently on the upper side of TH 9. Cheapest defense upgrade being 3 mill for L6 Teslas. Near maxed elixir troops in lab, only exceptions being L3 Drag, L4 Healer + L6 Healing spell (about to start).

My question is since most of my next upgrades require a lot of gold/elixir, wouldn't it make since to upgrade to TH 10 now? If I am gonna being farming my butt off for this loot I want it to be well protected and if I could add the Inferno's and a 3rd xbow to protect it, wouldn't I be better off? Not to mention the additional collectors/traps and the ability to begin upgrading more troops.

I'd like to stay at th 9 til I could at least hit all legos but this would literally take an eternity.

What do you think?

From what I have read, most people say they get half as much loot at Th10 than TH9. I suggest maxing your weapons, troops and spells before going to TH10. If your walls are weak, upgrade those as well. I don't think you need to max walls unless you plan to have lvl 11 walls eventually.

No offense but you're not a 'top end' TH9. Max your defenses and get at least 1/2 legos and lvl 15 heroes.

what he said.

i just jumped to th10 a month or so ago.
loot is literally 1/2, occasionally 1/4 what it was at th9.

doubt you have issue "protecting" your loot. i can count on two hands the number of times I was 100% as a th9 and I was a th9 for 8 or 9 months. max your defenses, all of them, and get heroes up to 15/15 while wrapping up your lab...THEN move to 10. believe me, it blows up here. just get my second inferno going to 3, finally after it had finished nine or ten days ago...loot sucks man.

His opinion is no it wouldn't be better at th10..th10 has big loot penalty..u should stay th9 n at least do all defences..if u dont wanna do walls it's up to u...n get ur Heros up afew more lvls first..I'm having no prob keeping my loot at th9 most the time I get th sniped n nothing stolen

If I were you, I would upgrade to TH10.

Only because I love seeing bases like yours get wrecked and eventually quit. We need more dead bases up here.

Definitely max all defenses and buildings. Also try to get atleast 50% legos before upgrading your townhall

Do what you want. I prematurely(archer towers tesla and AD were not maxed and heroes around lvl 5 each) upgraded and I have loved being TH10 ever since I did it. I have 3 months under my belt and I have kept my builders(all 5) busy the entire time. I love having max dragons, max pekka, and inferno towers. With level 3 Infernos and farming in Gold 1 I just leave my TH out of the base and I never have anyone mess with it. Yes loot is worse but I use to have hard times with max storages and having to gem buildings to keep farming. If you have that issue then I would recommend it. If you are trying to figure out if you can handle the farming I was at around 500 mil gold grab before I went to TH10 and that was at about month 5. If you only casually farm the lowered level of loot may frustrate you.

You have a few months left at th9 brother, don't be in a rush.

definitely do not upgrade. solid TH9, but lots of TH8 level defenses left. Get L3 xbows, max def and then go
