The Swirling Hurricane - A New TH8 Layout

Here's the layout I came out of village editor with:

ADVANTAGES:

1) Air defense arranged in triangle formation

2) Mortars arranged in triangle formation

3) Centralized Clan Castle

4) Efficient Funneling

5) Centralized DE Storage / Barb King

6) Splash defense covers all resource storages

7) Storages in separate compartments

8) Gold mines / DE Drill within walls - protected by defense

9) Looks straight-up awesome ;)


One of my clanmates (ahem ryne) thought my base was good so he actually copied it. feel welcome to do so, likewise.

Anyways, I think its a great base. Imma try it out.

Don't have mines and pumps where you are funneling, it's way to easy to drop a gob and bait those traps out. Otherwise base looks good, other than the traps the design looks pretty standard. I wouldn't say it's very anti-hog or giant and any TH9 will do a number on it. But then again, what TH9 won't. I look forward to seeing new versions of this coming out soon.

Base actually looks pretty decent, only thing I would change would be the trap placement, which can be easily scouted and the air mines are a bit too bunched up. Anyway, thumbs up.

Uh uh, triangulate those gold storages a bit more, they are slanted towards the bottom.

I'm not quite sure that's possible

It's a bit to square. You need more staggard junctions

1) Too many T juctions, especially on the outer walls
2) Bad placement of storages, particularly elixir
3) Wiz tower coverage tilted too much towards the bottom right
4) AD's not centralized enough

Depending on what I need to do, I either:
A - take out two of your three elixir storages easily, perhaps even getting some hits on the third with some well placed WBs

or

B - Mass dragons along the top left side - the AD is too far out to get enough hits in, no other air coverage in that area

Looks like a good base. But I would fix the junctions.
