Buying archer queen for gems

Hi,

i have a level 1 dark elixir storage (max. 10.000 dark elixir) and aim for the archer queen (cost 40.000 dark elixir).

If i try to buy the queen, COC asks to buy the rest of the dark elixir for about 1300 gems.

Question:
If i click yes, will COC:

a) bring up the error message that there is not enough space for the 40.000 dark elixir to build the archer queen. No gems are spent / lost.

b) fill up the dark elixir storage until 10.000 is reached and bring up the error message that there is not enough space for the 40.000 dark elixir to build the archer queen. The gems spent to fill the dark elixir storage until 10.000 are lost.

c) instantly buy and build the archer queen for gems despite the dark elixir storage capacity.


Looking forward to your answers. Please kindly let me know if you tried this or a similar thing and therefore know for sure.

Im not sure about A and B but im definitly sure it wont be C im thinking it will be A though i dont know because i havnt gemed before :/

First off. DO NOT GEM YOUR AQ.
Its not worth it. You need to upgrade your storage to lvl 3 before getting the AQ. Also, get your drills up and farm her out.

Actually interesting question... Never gemmed anything either, I think you should save enough elixir to upgrade your DE storage to be safe. Elixir is easy to get nowadays, depending where you are farming.

I gemmed before (the barb king). After i was asked to spend the gems the dark elixir storage was filled and then i was asked to place the king.

Well, i thought maybe there is a bug allowing option c) to happen. But that's wishful thinking as it seems.

and DO NOT gem your AQ. You're a TH9; come on, farm for it.
And why did you upgrade your TH with only lvl 1 DE storage?

Yeah i found out that was a mistake to go TH9 without caring for the rest like defense and collectors/storages.

I did the TH upgrade when COC had its birthday and there were those 1week boosts for 1gem each. Easy 3mio gold farming.. that's the only reason :/

when I hit TH9, my storage was already filled with a farmed 40k DE...

do what I do.

That's an interesting question. I have tried it before. There will be an error message. You can't finish the deal.
