Definitely not an air tank. Air attacks are already insanely easy.
I would like to see a troop that buffs other troops would even settle for a useful healer
I think of stealth units (invisible for defense until they attack themselves)
or units who teleport to the next prefered target.
Or what about wallbreakers who prefer defense units instead of walls? Like..they head for the nearest defense unit to deal x4 times their normal damage to it, possibly destroying it instantly (and dying with it). Should take alot of space though so it's still balanced.

I would like to see troops that target different things or have different abilities rather than just targeting defences / resources / nearest available target. I think it would be interesting to have troops that either:
- Purely support troops that don't have attacks (for example; trap disarming, lead troops, provides buffs like shield /damage /speed /critical hit /splash damage /invisibility /damage reflecting shields /creates multiples of units /life drain /increases damage every hit taken and given.... just to give some examples)
- Target buildings which aren't just resources/defences
- Purely defence orientated troops (can only be donated to CC and cannot actually be deployed for attacking)
- Troops that only targets air
- Spell / troop that levitates buildings / units
I want an air tank or a troop that targets town halls. But your idea of an inferno tower troop is a good idea.

Your on to something :). I was starting to like the shield idea but it would just be like a giant/golem that doesnt attack... But i was also wondering about a troop, possiblily a vulture, that attacks other buildings than resources and defenses, and attacks things like builder huts, army camps, barracks etc. Might come in handy for some times....eh idk

Beating a dead horse here but oh well.
An ice unit and an ice tower. The phantom Yetti would be perfect. Beening a big tower defense fan , the ice towers are classic.
Yetti can freeze a tower or CoC unit or just slow it less a rebuff (anti rage)
And tower can slow incomming units walk and attack speed . 😈

A 1 space DE troop. Been thinking this for a while now.
I'd like to see a unit called the fairy. The fairy would cost 1 de, and would be very stupid-looking. It takes up no housing space and you can place a maximum of 20 at a time in one battle. They are made with varying colours that the user cannot choose and they cannot be hit by any defenses. They run throughout the opponents bases and drop lots of obstacles such as rocks, trees and shrubs that are differently coloured to other obstacles and offer no gems with twice the amount in cost to remove. Sometimes they will spawn a dark elixir tree that looks wicked as. This tree would have a 1/1000000 chance to be created.

Oh, in addition, they also change your queued units that you have building in your barracks which completely messes up army compositions.
It needs something revolutionary as people have been playing and attacking the same way for well over a year now.
I doubt 1 troops will cut it enough to change the way the game is played.
It would be cool if they either:
- Release 2 to 3 new troops at the same time
- Release 1 new troop and new TH level
- Release 1 new troop with 1 or 2 new spells
These might be enough to shake the game up and give it new life.

I'd also like level 4 PEKKA's to be available at TH9 :D
Lol interesting idea... I don't think as many as 20 to be dropped in 1 attack though... I would limit that to 5, 10 max. Just incase your base gets hit a few times before you can get a shield.
And I wouldn't want my barracks queue to change... Imagine coming back from a raid and returning to a camp full of healers? And it's during a push... Yeah. Not ideal!
So you want a 1 space flying troop? I personally can't see that happen unless they half the strength of the minion and make them 1 space.
In one of the Developer Interviews Chief Pat did the Devs said they were trying to implement a 1 space DE troop. I seriously doubt it would fly though.
Best not to fill any Air CC with legs.
I don't think any new troop should be a game changer, but freshening things up should definitely be on the cards.
Id be happy with a farm hut, which at a cost, creates a few farm animals. Pigs, Chickens, etc. when the but is destroyed the units attacking the hut attempt to chase the chickens, and end up getting picked off inevitably by the defences.
a one space altar could randomly attract passing wizzards, perhaps just one, who attack in defence of the clan in which the altar is housed.
a few randomly spawning birds in trees, who attack the enemy from above, doing a small amount of damage but live I g up the game.
archers might have a 1 in 100 chance of attacking a nearby tree, barbs the same small chance of attacking a bush.
Just tiny changes, small random amusing additions, in ADDITION to some form of proper/real troop unit.
To be honest, I don't want to see a new troop. What good will a new troop do? destroy a TH higher than you???...consider it...
