War loot collecting

Is it better to collect war loot immediately or to wait until I'm about to spend it? I'm not sure if a different percentage is available in the cc as opposed to in the storage. Also, if x amount is the max amount available that can be raided from my storage, if I had that max amount available then anything in my cc would be extra on top of that that people can raid. Any thoughts?

I think collect it quickly, if you are close to an upgrade.

Collect when you are about to upgrade since raiders only get 5%(I think) from clan castle

Collect it if you are going to upgrade. CC only holds a certain amount of loot.
