Flowers to grow & sell

I know this idea has been suggested many times, but now with the town it seems like such a great idea-

Flowers to grow, harvest & combine into arrangements to be sold at a flower shop in town. As there are so many machines to buy & stuff to do before level 70, this could be offered at 80+ with a different type of flower unlocked at different levels. We could grow them in a different style plot also so that we don't need to use our existing ones also.

I totally agree and have posted the very same idea myself.

It would be nice if we could have the green garden in a separate area like the fishing area. The farms are pretty packed at higher levels. But i simply love the high level suggestion. Maybe at 70+ when all other machines are acquired.

Thats a great idea! A separate area (like the fishing spot) so we don't crowd our farms & we can decorate!!! LOVE IT

I love this idea, too, but even if we don't have a separate area to grow the flowers, at least allow them to be grown in town.

It would also be great if we could choose whether to decorate with the flowers we have grown, or sell them. :)

This is a great idea 😊 would definitely love a flower shop! There's loads of different flowers we could have. Roses, Daffodils, Sunflowers....I'm no gardener there are loads more 😄

Well, there are rumours that we will soon be getting beehives for honey, and if that is the case then I would imagine that the mechanism for that would require flowers for the bees to gather nectar, in a typical Hayday timeframe. It may be wishful thinking but it would be a very popular move. :)

I love the idea of growing flowers for sale and decoration. I am a new player and have only just discovered the forums, so bear with me if I'm repeating old news or otherwise not in the right place.

Am I right that sunflowers are a crop that comes up at higher levels? I live in an area where sunflowers are grown and I have taken pictures of the beehives that are brought to the fields so the hard-working little bees can pollinate the crops. One of my early thoughts was that bees are such an integral part of the farming process that they would be a natural item for Hay Day. Not only would they produce honey which could be used as an ingredient in other products, but the beeswax could become candles for sale. (Gift shop in Town with jewelry and clothing??)

Something that would be more complicated in terms of programming but would be authentic and add a new level of interest to trees and crops would be to introduce a way for the bees to increase or speed up crop yield. For example, instead of the option of using diamonds to get an instant crop yield, a beehive could be used to double a crop yield of something that takes a long time to mature.

There are already a bunch of roses in hedges. It would be nice if there were some way to pick the roses and sell them. I've seen a number of farms where crop fields are used decoratively. I'm picturing rose bushes--or arbors--where you plant the bush and it flowers. These could work like the trees and berry bushes. The hedge roses are smaller than a crop field. I'm sure that the programmers could allow the bushes to produce flowers on something smaller so there wouldn't be too much room taken up.

That's just an example. I can see having special seasonal flowers to plant in a flower bed. Maybe the flower bed could consist of tiny plots that become available at successive levels and grow like crop fields.

I'm getting carried away. Can you tell I'm already a Hay Day enthusiast!!

great ideas!! Although we do not have sunflowers yet, they would look sooo tall & pretty. They could be harvested for seeds (just roasted or to mix with honey, olive oil, wheat berries & popcorn for a granola, or maybe on a new salad) or harvested for the bouquets. Btw the enthusiasm is welcome!!
