Defending against max giants

Which is how this game works, you prey on those one townhall weaker than you. You aren't meant to be able to stop them with a loaded attack.

Relating to loot supply, personally I think supercell manipulates how often the abandoned bases come in to circulation. Bringing in periods of "plenty" then starvation from the freebie collectors likely draws in more players to buy gems. One week a player is having an easy time, finding plenty of loot to fund his/her upgrades, increasing the desire to play. Next week, or next couple days the player finds themselves either attacking bases with less or burning a lot more on hitting next, in either case ♥♥♥♥♥♥ing the accumulation per time spent.

Actually i was attacked by a maxed giants army this morning. He only got one star, and about 1/4 of my total loot avaliable. Try PingFaos carnival base. Its somewhere here on the forums.

I'll certainly take a look into that, I'm saving for Xbow level 2 today.
(edit) I can't seem to find it.. Are you certain Thats what it's called (not Tesla Themepark?)

If you are struggling against max giants, then something is very wrong :(

just wait until those giants become golems and those useless healers turn into pekkas and witches. If you are exposed to giant/healers (which is a common low level attack), you are probably went premmie or are playing in a league above your head

Gold 2, maxed (except level 8 walls) Th8 who then upgraded to TH9, got the new TH9 defences to max TH8 level, got level 7 mortars and Xbows leveling to level 2 as we speak. I'm probably just as well off as the average TH9 if not more so.

Heck, I defended against a gowipe (40% nearly no loot) way back in Th8 but I can't stop this giant rush. Couldn't stop it then, can't stop it now. Did you ever have to deal with this problem, and if so, how?

Why don't you just post a screen of your base so people can offer real advice instead of possibilities of what might work, depending on a huge number of unknown factors?

Do the giants start to attack the AT's at the start of the funnels, then begin to pound on the wall separating them from the WT's?

Yes, they do. I can't upload a replay, but that's exactly what they do. They head all the way down the funnel and start on the WT cell wall, unless someone is smart and drops a jump spell that doesn't cover the WT section. The giants usually just clear out the defences from 2-3 sides, and then they core rush with wiz/AQ/BK.

Right now the issue is that a healer can heal 1/4-1/3 of the ring, a heal spell will heal another third and the last third only kills a few giants. Wbs can negate the WT cell walls, and if they break the ring then I'm in a lot of trouble. I'd be willing to give up the antihog base in a heartbeat, but I haven't found anything that works yet.

I realize it may be a pain in the a$$ to change things, but to get the giants to go down the funnels you need to move the WT's.

Edit: The idea is to draw the giants down the funnels. Currently, the next defense building closest to them after they kill the WT's is the AT's, even if they are on the other side of the wall.
