What to Upgrade

Recently just came across some itune cards... alot of them haha

I currently have 14k-15k gems and no idea what would be the most efficient way to use them.

At the moment I'm considering upping my attack forces, want to be able to tackle strong foes in wars and such.

My Troops are:
Arch/Barb/Giants/Gobs - Level 5
WB/Wizards/Bloons- Level 4
Healer- Level 3
Dragon - Level 2
Pekka/Golems/Witches/hogs/Minion/Valk - Level 1
Barb King - Level 3, probably boosting to level 5, for spec.
Archer Queen is in the works

Spells:Lighting/Rage/Heal all Level 3
Jump - Level 1

I've thought about possibly doings hogs to level 4, considering the attack seems to work well. Or possibly Upgrading Pekka/Golem GoWipe

Was also considering just upgrading Giants to level 6 just for normal farms.


As for defense I provided a pic of my base, it's not that close to a max TH9, but I feel with better troops it would be easier to farm for the defense units.

I've also considered upping to Th-10 for inferno towers, and freeze spell.



Any help would be appreciated, I'm overwhelmed with the gems and I don't want to use them stupidly

If you have all five builders, then use it on army. But what armies do you use a lot for war:confused:

Better do spend some gems for the lab to finish researching which you like/use troops !
Save some gems for boosting barracks & spell factory :)
Dont rush to TH10 for inferno's & freezing spell , i wont recommend that :p

I don't know needed help with that also. What army is better for clan wars the hogs or Golem/Witch/Wizard Golem/Pekka/Wizard

Which is better, and what levels would I need to have the troops at to make it work.

Hogs should be maxed if you need to ride hogs :)
Well , Golem is acting like a metal shield , so need level up as you prefer to attack high defensive bases ;)
Wizards 5+ Must !! :D
Pekka , Yeah its good , upgrade it to 3+

i would say lvl3+ for golem, lvl5+ for wizard, and just regular witch and above. I would go with GoWiWi

Well , for your information , every troops are good as they are leveled up , so try to maxed out every troops upto TH level & feel the difference ;)

Hm alright, so far leaning with the GoWiWi.

I have recently been attacking with GoWiPe, Golem 1, wizard 5 and pekka 3. I quit with it due to the long training time around crystal 1, but you shouldn't have any problems getting to atleast masters 2 with this strategy (and these troop levels)

I used 2 golems, 3 pekkas and the rest wiz with a few wallbreakers (around 6). Along with all rage spells or perhaps 1 jump spell, which saves you the wallbreakers.

Then again, hog riders along with wizards work fine aswell, both strategies require opponent selection though. Some bases are easy for the hog riders, other bases are easy for the GoWiPe.
I'd recommend your hog riders to be atleast level 4 though, along with 4 heal spells they should be doing fine.
/edit: Avoid multi target inferno's with the hogriders obviously untill you have freeze spells. Multi target inferno's are a joke to GoWiPe. Avoid the single target ones with GoWiPe and jump arround them with hogriders ;)

The most efficient way to use your gems would be to use barracks boosts then when you have enough gold for another upgrade simply gem The wait time

Thanks for all the feedback, currently got both King and Queen to Level 5. Upgraded Wizards to level 5.

Think with the rest I'm going to work Hogs to Level 4, Heals to level 4, and WB to level 5. Giants to 6 for normal farming. Whatever leftover may use on barrack for 220 troops, or possibly upgrading pekka to level 2.
