TH9 upgrade order

I'm just about to start my TH9 upgrade. TH8 is maxed except for 31 purple walls, 2 lvl9 barracks, BK lvl9 and one lvl1 big bomb. Planning to finish these while upgrading the TH.
Been thinking about the best way to go about TH9 upgrades. If you have any thoughts or guides, please share.

I'm thinking, lab, AQ, x-bow, drill and all new defenses and storage first.

Then upgrade the spell factory, army camps, drills, as well as all new defenses to th8 level. Then max splash defenses first and then get everything else maxed.

Barb, archer, giant, balloon, spells in the lab in that order.

That's my plan so far. Any input?

Lab, AQ (if you have the DE), get your camps and drills going ASAP. I prioritized camps and drills. It was amazing having the extra troops for raiding. Also, my 1st gold ug was my CC. Best defensive building out there besides IFT's.

I'd do lab and factory first for elix. Lab for obvious reasons, but with the factory you get the instant gratification of another spell, whereas camps have a much smaller increase (+5 space/each). Obviously both should be a high priority but I'd rather knock out the factory first (especially if you war alot). That extra spell is huge. I'd also get working on my elix storage asap as you will need it for max troop upgrades.

For gold, you could do both xbows....but might be smarter doing one and working on new defenses while getting new walls up to at least lvl 6. Then work on new structures/defenses to at least hall 8 lvl, and stick with the usual upgrade splash first, etc and you should be fine.

Either way, gotta do it all anyway and there's quite abit to do at hall 9. Do whatever you find most important for your needs.

Definitely save enough de to buy Queenie immediately as well, and keep her under the knife as much as you can with de upgrades.

I've been TH9 for about a week now. First things I've upgraded were lab, sf, and CC. I just started my first camp on Thursday and as soon as I get enough elixir (and free builder), I'm starting another camp. I've been rotating my builders with my new defenses and got a xbow done and is working on the second one. Should I knock out XBow lvl2 before splash or wait till splash is lvl7?

Prioritizing offensive over defensive is the way I went and the way I would recommend you go. Obviously, your plan won't be followed to the tee (it never works like that in Clash, does it?). I got the Archer Queen as soon as my TH finished, and she is the biggest help you can get. I would prioritize her over the Laboratory, as you can knock her out in a couple days with some solid raiding. If you can, I'd say screw the BK to Lvl 10 and save the Dark Elixir for your Queen. She is amazing, I promise you will not be disappointed.

In order:

Archer Queen
Laboratory
Army Camps (yes, all four)
New walls (do these as you go)
Xbows
clan castle
Other new defenses (prioritize Wiz & AD)
Drill
Spell Factory (not necessary for farming)

After those beginning stages, priorities should be like this:

Troop upgrades
Queen & King (imo, lot of work, but very, very worth it for me so far).
xbows (I'd say go all the way to lvl 3, xbows are a big, big difference).
Wizard Towers
point defenses
air defense
mortars (lvl 6 really take care of basic farming troops, lvl 7 is almost unnecessary).

Clan castle is by far the best. Then it would probably be camps or spell fac

IMO you should have all your builders free and max resources ready for when your TH9 finishes. Then I think it should be in this order.

1. Lab
2. AQ
3. DE Drill
4. Spell Factory
5. X-Bow

I think you'd be much better off spending an extra million and building both x bows before doing your CC.

Two new defensive structures > 5 extra spots in your CC, IMO.

I never get those people who say CC is the first thing to upgrade...

I'd go for Archer Queen, Lab, 2 X-Bows, Army Camp and 1 Builder for little shenanigans like additional walls, wiz tower, extra archer tower, ad, De-Drill
