Some memebers of your clan can be really annoying and what till you request a troop like a dragon and they donate one barbarian so you have to wait 15mins for another request, so I thought why not have a filter so you choose what troops you want and then press request, so you could choose giants, archers, and barbarians so no one could donate a goblin or wall breaker to be annoying! !
Check out my Dismiss Clan Castle Troops idea in my signature. It deals with same issues as yours. Though I would prefer you idea, but Supercell does not seem to be going this direction because of the dismiss war troops update.
