Why so much hate?

I know at some point in this thread someone is going to say "I bet he's just a premie", well in answer to that yes i did rush my th. It was a strategy I employed to get the most fun out of the game, and while I know there are negative to this approach in my humble opinion there are more pros.
Start of rant
Since I've started playing I have spent countless hours on the forums reading and educating myself on the ins and outs of this game were all addicted to. However something has always bothered me about these forums and high "lvl" people in the game that iv come across. It is this pity... Dare i say dislike for premies. If you doubt me all you have to do is take a look at any of the forum organized clans or for that matter most well run clans in general. In their description it will say something like this

must be th 9 or 10
must have lvl x archers and wiz
no premie

This sends an unfortunate message to all premies out there that because they rushed their th they are no longer worthy to associate with other "non rushed" th of their lvl. This is even more enforced when the premie goes on global, he is met with a barrage of abuse and is told what a noob he is.
Now I'm not saying that all premies are the same, some have truly made a noobish mistake and rushed to the point of no return. However there are others like myself who after much thought made the decision that was best for their style of play.
To sum it all up I fail to understand why someone who has the same lvl troops and just as much skill attacking as other higher "lvl" players should be so rejected simply because he has not upgraded his base as much as they have?

from what i can understand in this post,ure saying that most of the top clans dont want premmies.
they're right from there point of view....
since those clans are at the top,they like to get ppl who have a good lvled up base so that it can withstand attacks during war and they dont get crushed on defense........bcoz if u lose trophies the clan loses some too.....this may lead to them slipping out of the top 3 and not getting gems as a result(top 10 players from top 3 clans)

they'll want high lvl troops for pushing and attacks during war,so u understand why those limits are kept

Well, from what I see, you're arguing on two fronts - clan recruitment and general activity on global and sometimes the forums.

On regards to clan recruitment, the reason why people do not want premature bases is mostly down to the clan's CW capabilities. Think about it, if the clan wants the most ability in winning, the ones with the more fully developed bases will then have the greater chance in the war.

On terms of global and on the forums, it's mostly down to the social stigma that premmies are noobs. That is not true for all premmies as noted by yourself. You've taken the conscious decision to upgrade your Town Hall as you believe it's the right way to go. On the other hand, the opposite fraction of premmies just upgrade their Town Hall without knowing the consequences of doing so. As a result, the more knowledgeable members look down upon such players.

Either way, there are just some people who just like to point fingers at people and just to belittle them to make themselves seem bigger. Those people you should just ignore and you should just concentrate on playing Clash the way you want to play. :p

So what are you saying? That the clans who say "TH9/TH10 Only" should have no other standards? What about someone who gems up their TH to 10 but leaves all their defenses and walls at level 1?

Good clans have to draw the line somewhere when it comes to setting standards.

The other reason why most clans don't want someone who is to much of a premmie is simply down to raiding experience.

We have just kicked a member after he decided to go massively premature with his base.

For us, theres one simple reason behind it - it ruins war matching for everyone else.

Im willing to bet almost everyone has come across one of those matches by now - the ones where your opponents all have higher townhalls but when you look at their bases, everything is super low level and the war is a complete walkover.

I dont want us to be on the wrong side of that match-up. . . who would really?

Don't get me wrong, I don't think top 200 clans should get rid of all requirements to get into them. I would say that in gereral many clans put way to much emphasis on lvl and not on the player himself. Just because a premie may not farm much doesn't nesesarly mean he's a bad attacker.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here.

Why wouldn't a person with a rushed base be farming to try and get their base up to par? Rushed bases will only get obliterated at higher leagues.

I love seeing premie bases when I am raiding. More loots to grab :]

Lol that's the whole point of upgrading early. I always maxed the troops I use and did defense, just not to max.

Well, it depends.....

We have, and still do, accept people who are premmie. Come to think of it a few people in our clan are a bit premmie... no one has really maxed out their base at TH8 (including walls!) before upgrading to TH9.

We had one guy a few months back who joined and had no idea how to make a base or attack. We spent a lot of time trying to teach him how to build a base.... how to barch. At a very premmie TH10 he had no other choice.... However it really does make a huge difference if people aren't prepared to learn.

As a clan leader I have to make decisions on entry requirements to benefit the whole clan as it is now and where it needs to be in the future. Its not an exact science but generally those who are very premmie may have little understanding of the game and may not progress in the clan as quickly as what is needed. Often their enthusiasm for the game tapers off............ particularly when they have difficulties with loot.

Currently there is no issue from my perspective of accepting a premmie TH - but in the future ... who knows

Before wars i didnt care because clans were only for socialization and donations.
Now with wars your base will create harder matches, have a high chance of getting crushed, & its likey that your raiding skills will be weak.
I have never seen a great attacker thats a preme.

Seems, that you want to justify the rush TH. If it made the game more fun to you to do that, then Clash On.

Being a th10 with lvl1 defences is straight up ridiculous but rushing a town hall to benefit your play style is fine, All the sheep that follow the general concencus and see it as a deadly sin to rush a town hall can chew a brick. Play the game the way you want and don't listen to half of the people on here ;), Best advice possible, Do your own thing and have fun.

Before wars it didn't really matter if premies were accepted into a clan because who cares if your clanmates get destroyed? But now that war is out premies are horrible to have in clans.

For 1 reason, they skew the match making to put your clan at a horrible disadvantage. Higher town halls usually get ranked higher even if there defenses are lower and serve as an easy target and attract higher town halls from the other clan that aren't as premature.

For a 2nd reason, they are almost always terrible at attacking. Nobody wants a bad attacker in clan wars. So basically, they give up stars on defense, don't get stars on offense, and match you against higher level clans.

It's not our fault that you rushed your base knowing what would happen. Just join a clan that doesn't focus on war.

Everything that needs to be said already has been.

But I do agree that being premie doesn't necessarily dictate bad attacking skills. We have a hall 10 in our clan that is very premie, but he is a very skilled attacker and surprisingly... wins quite a few defenses. People think they will steam roll his base and are usually in for a big surprise. I love watching his defensive replays.

Granted, he isn't a TH10 with lvl 1 defenses either. There's "smart rushing" as well as bad rushing...and they are very different.

However, for the most part being premie does carry a negative connotation and you're just going to have to learn to deal with it. For most people there's a reason why they dislike premie's, and rightfully so.

With wars no one wants to have a 3 stAr base in there clan so even a th6 can kill u and I'd bet that ud barly be able to 1 star him back the best thing to do is start over

As for the comment saying people who rush town halls are mostly bad at attacking, I don't find that true at all, I encouraged many if my clan mates to rush to town hall 9 for lvl6 troops, They were mid th8's so it was no dramatic leap but it totally paid off, Now there's better donations and better replays to be shared :), As I said before, rushing a town hall to benefit your play style is respectful and I endorse it 100%

I agree. Its not hate as much as lack of respect. Im a TH8, 75% complete. I take pride that only twice in the battle stats(33 shown), only two 100% (by very good 9s. Learned a few things in the battle replays). 10 defensive "wins". Rest are 50%-60% losses. Ya gotta work to take down my base.

Preemies ? Few have the skill learned from the ranks, and i'll waste their base in revenge. Think about that...an 8 wasting a 9. Jehosaphat! With all the advantages 9s have...no way should an 8 be able to waste your base.

The game has two parts. Offense and Defense. Preemies play half, and the half they play they haven't a clue except to Barch

Like gemmers..all flash, no substance, lots of hot air "expertise.

It's not so much this type of premie that is bad. If you have close to TH8 max buildings and you upgrade then that is fine, but if you are a TH9 with, maybe, level 7 cannons and archer towers then that looks bad.
I'd say the minimum for TH9 - just as an example - would be
Level 4 teslas
Level 6 wizard towers
Level 6 mortars (splash is important so that's why I said the TH8 max level for the mortars and WTs)
Level 8/9 cannons/ATs
Level 5 AD
Anything below that is pretty premie in my eyes.

As has already been said, there are good premmies and there are bad premmies.

However, if there is an elite TH9/10 clan, they have perfect rights to say no to a premmie th9. Even if you are having fun at the game, your defenses etc. are probably at around medium th8 level with an xbow.

If rushing your th gets you an advantage and you have more fun, then that's good, but you are probably still about medium th8 level. When a clan says "must be th9/10" then they are more asking that you have to be as good as a non-rushed th9. If you were a th10 that was a decent/low th9 before rushing then you should be let in.

I personally don't hate on premmies at all, unless they are a th9 only as good as a new th7, or a th10 with a new th8 level etc.

Why would clans want crappy players? Make the whole clan look worse just to make one guy happy...

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I love premmies. TH 10's with gold walls and full gemmed storages are great. More loot for me :)

I think you need to look at it from the clan leader's perspective. If I want to set some criteria for my clan, and you don't meet that criteria, it doesn't mean that you've been wronged or belittled. It just means that you need to join a different clan.

Second, it is not practical to manage a clan with a policy of "No rushed THs, except for the minority who knew what they were doing and are actually good at attacking." A clan needs to have guidelines that co-leaders and elders can follow in deciding whether to accept a new candidate. Having no policy is a lot worse than a sound but imperfect policy.
