Introduction
In Clash of Clans, lv is important. Many of the better clans require you to be higher in lv and many players look at your lv first when viewing your profile. It shows how experienced you are with the game and can give an idea of where you stand (If you rushed, if you are average for your TH, above average, etc.). Getting XP can be tough sometimes, but I have found a method of getting XP quicker than normal.
Donating!
Most people will tell you to donate if you want to lv up fast! But what exactly do you donate? I will cover that in this little guide! First off, what you need I will list below:
- Lv 9 barracks (So you can train dragons)
- Lv 2+ Dragons (Most people do not mind this lv)
- Lv 5+ Archers (Most people accept archers this lv)
- At least 3 million elixir (So you can constantly train these troops)
- A clan that requests a lot and frequently asks for these troops
What to do?
What I have been doing is having one barrack training 3 dragons full time and the rest training archers. The idea is to have it so that you will constantly have dragons ready to be donated. Most people in my clan do not mind getting dragons, so it works out great. However, some people do not like getting dragons in their CC! You have to be aware of these people and work around that! Usually archers will do in these instances, so be ready to give out those. Otherwise, if you notice someone in your clan requests a certain troop, like hog riders or wizards, have some of those ready too. I do not boost anything with gems, but if you find that you cannot keep up with the requests, you can boost the one barrack with dragons so you have one every 7.5 minutes.
What army comp to use?
This method requires you to adapt your army comp. Since you will have one barrack down for dragons it will take longer to have your troops for battle. Also, you will have considerably less troops to use in your raids. No worries, I have found a way to work around it. I have been using all archers in my raids and can usually get 50%. I just look for collector raids or bases I know I can 1 star. However, all archers is more uncommon and requires a bit more precision to work. So, there are alternatives. You can train one barrack with barbarians, and the other 2 with archers. Or you can even do that and also having minions training. I have been down as many as 100 troops and was still able to 50% with 100 archers, my BK and CC. I would stay within the 1400-1600 trophy range when using this strategy.
How good is this method?
I have been doing this for 3 days now and am about to hit 1k donations. As someone who used to donate maybe 300-400 a season, to donate this much in 3 days is amazing to me. I predict maybe 2-3k donations by the end of the season, which is in 9 days now.
Conclusion
I just thought I would share how I got a lot of donations and XP. I was inspired to do this after seeing a TH8 at lv 100 with 70k donations!
