Double Tesla Theme Park | A TH9 Base Design

Hello, Duv here. Today I present you the Double Tesla Theme Park!

Now, I'm not Pingfao, and neither is Inception (Inception is the player who I designed this base with). So don't expect any amazing stories in this thread. More replays are coming soon, and as this is a new base design, I currently have 2 clan war replays from the cDTP's latest clan war against bDTP (and you can check out the overview of that war here), which are two wins that show how difficult this base is to two star for a TH9 base. The farming design bears similar results, but I have no recorded replays to show you. After a week or two, only one person has managed to reach a storage. Again, defense logs coming soon.

Just saying, but there's a 'Tesla Theme Park Returns 10' for TH10.

Base looks alright, there's nothing similar to the actual TTP- the signature TTP staggered walls guarded by a Tesla isn't found due to compartment's being opened for funnels so WB go straight towards the Teslas. Also get rid of those X-junctions. Other than that, looks good I guess.

Thanks for the tips, but a couple things:

Some people in DTP got a bit frustrated with the 'Tesla Theme Park Returns 10' cause not only was the guy not in DTP (I think he was banned from the family, not sure though) as well as nobody inside the family said it was ok.

I don't see the x-junctions as a problem as regular troop AI (as in no preferred targets) targets the closest building, so they go for the single line of walls next to the junction, not the junction. Your point is still somewhat applicable as if the buildings in the surrounding compartments were gone, troops could break into more that 1 compartment at once, but then the buildings would be gone, so it wouldn't really matter.

Also, Inception came up with the name. I'm not a huge huge fan, as there isn't much that's similar to the TH8 or TH9 TTP designs, but he held firm and wanted that to be the name, so I was okay with it, he was a bigger part in designing this base than I.

This is garbage, the x-junctions weren't the biggest problem here. The nonsensical funnels and horrible hero placement are. giants/golems will rip the tesla to pieces in seconds with the funnels like that. The wallbreaker will go right for the tesla compartment. Take a look at how the funnels are in the original TTP... The whole idea is built around the wiz tower and tesla frying the attackers forces as long as possible!!! This is also the reason why 95% of the modified TTPs for TH8 are utter trash also, because the modifiers don't understand the original idea behind the base.

Before you fix that don't you dare call this a Tesla Theme Park in any sense of the word.

This is such an easy hog three star. You need to create locations for double giant bombs. With an easy to access aq and no Dbl bombs to wipe a group, a good th9 and up will roll over this with a hog army.

I don't think you understand the purpose of this base. I can and will go in depth if you want me too, but I won't waste my time. This base is defending very well in clan wars, and almost never gives up more than one gold storage- I've only encountered someone who was able to take two once- a hogger- and even a maxed GiWiWiPe only took 1 of each storage. Posting hog defenses soon.

You are mistaken. One of my favorite parts of this base is how hogs target the teslas after the arch towers- they run across the giant bomb and are finished off by the wiz tower if deployed in the same place.

No, but on the farming version, which gives less priority to defense, has 'won' against hogs (they still sniped the town hall, check out the new defense logs on the OP).

Another flaw of this base is that it cant protect against zapping. Easy de zap but overall its a good base:rolleyes:
